FF7 reborn. a prequel to a game that by many is considered to be the best game ever.

Final Fantasy VII-Crisis Core was the very first final fantasy game that i ever bought and played. i bought on a wim because i had seen that had been given very high reviews and since i had just been given my psp for christmas i thought to myself "hey why not, it looks pretty cool'. i'd heard this series was good and it was probaly one of the best buys i have ever made (as far as games). the storyline is intiuging and extremely well done as a backdrop story to explain the events leading up to FF7. By the end of the game i was so connected to the characters it was almost like i was watching things happen in real time to an actual person. The story is very deep. the controls are great. the sound/presentation is up to par. and challenge/gameplay is absolutely wonderful. overall i give the game a 10/10 for no other game has ever touched me like this one!! i highly recomend it to anyone looking for a deep psp game with lots to do.

One of the best RPG's I have played for any platform- EVER.

As an RPG lover, and a fan of everything Final Fantasy VII, when I heard of this game I knew I had to have it. When I had finally purchased it and began to play, I knew I was in love. Crisis Core has to be the greatest PSP game out there. From the moment I picked it up, I was hooked. The graphics and visuals are amazing. The best I have ever seen out of the PSP, honestly so much so that I was shocked at how amazing it looked. The scenery throughout the game is vivid and realistic, bringing to life the world of Final Fantasy VII in a way any fan could appreciate. The storyline has got to be one of the best of all time, and the character development was outstanding. From the moment I began playing, I fell in love with Zack Fair and his cheerful, charismatic demeanor. Never before have I felt so connected to a character in any of the games. The storyline is full of emotion and dramatic twists and turns. If you ever found yourself wondering, "What's so bad about ShinRa?" during Final Fantasy VII this game will surely answer all those questions, and goes in greater depth about the Nibelheim Incident. But even if you've never played Final Fantasy VII, you will find yourself enraptured by the amazing storyline, vivid graphics, and greatly developed characters. While some of the battle sounds tended to be repetitive and perhaps a little annoying, the new versions of the old Final Fantasy VII scores are simply delightful. The game had plenty of side-missions to complete, which unfortunately some of the time seemed redundant. Although I'm sure playing through all of the side quests greatly extends the length of the game, my first playthrough I simply played a handful of extra missions and only got about 20 hours or so out of it, but even that didn't lessen the quality of this great game. The New Game+ feature is a great bonus for those who plan on getting through the storyline first and doing missions second. While the game may seem short, there is still plenty to do.

Zack is the man

This was my first final fantasy. Since i have bought and played 7, 10, 12, 4, 6. After playing this i downloaded 7 on the playstation market. I have to say that i liked zack more than cloud and it killed me on the inside when cloud took credit for everything zack did in the begining of the game. The game really explained the story of the game and showed how cloud became so powerful. Genesis is an awesome bad guy. Hes almost as awesome as Sepiroth. The combat system is also quite good. I loved the magica fusion system. Always use the system. I would spend half an hour just mixing different magika. Had all the 3rd level magika in blade form. The boss battles were tons of fun. Genesis the last time was entertaining. I hated the way that zack died though. I cried myself to sleep.

As a young teen I enjoyed Final Fantasy 7. As a young adult, I enjoyed Final Fantasy 7. I honestly don't think I could enjoy any game as much as I enjoy that one. With that said, I love this game. This is a great tie-in to a wonderful game. The gameplay is very much different from the turn based that one would become used to, and leveling up is left to chance, but I believe the graphics make up for whatever is lacking on the whole. The Summons are absolutely beautiful, the Materia combination is a great added plus, and honestly I even like the fact that most of the script is read and not spoken. I bought my PsP specifically for this game, and this is the only game I own for it. I definitely recommend this game to friends and family alike.
