Great Game
PostedMay 2, 2009
I am having alot of fun with this game. The sound is good. The characters, the story, the controls, everything is good. One special thing that I noticed about this game was the graphics. These are some of the best graphics on the psp. Everyone should definetly check this game out. I garuntee you that you'll like this game. I'm not much of a Final Fantasy fan. But i had so much fun with this one. It was pretty addictive. The only thing that i dislike is how you level up. It levels you up randomly. Its still worth playing though. If you like any other Final Fantasy game, you will like this one. Its fun, and is pretty appropriate. So if you own a psp, you need to check this game out.

Really awesome!

When I first bought this game, I really didn't know what to expect because I had only played the 7th one before... but after playing this game for hours upon hours, it's really the best for the PSP. The graphics are the best.. especially the cinematic sequences... the creators put A LOT of work into this game. It was worth every penny. I think the length of the game is great, and the options in it like the missions and material fusion... The story line is really epic, too... The only thing I don't like about this game is the sound... it's great, but I hate how repetitive some of the sounds are. The character, weapon, and background designs are superb, though. I didn't even know most of the characters that are in this game before playing... Square Enix did a superb job with this game.

If you love the 1st FFVII, you're going to love this 1. I personally haven't played FFVII but I've seen the gameplay and I have friends and relatives who have beaten the game and say it's the best so I decided to pick up this FFVII for the psp. I never thought I would get hooked but I did. I fell in love with this game right when I bought it. I just love how this shows everything that happens before it goes into the FFVII for the ps1. I never knew how each Final fantasy started but this 1 shows how the next 1 starts off. I love the graphics in this game. They are awesome. The music is great. I love the storyline the most. I love the movies at the end and how it leads into the next part for the ps1. I would absolutely recommend this game if you are a Final Fantasy fan.

Buy this game

If any of you reading this review own final fantasy 7 (the original like I do) you should definatly buy this game, but anyway this game is great by itself because it has a new cast of charecters (except Zack, Sephirioth, cloud, areith and one apperance by Yuffie) and takes place 7 yrs before the first. as for the graphics I am pleasantly suprised the first game's graphics were where ahead of their time and these graphics look just as good as any ps2 graphics, the cut-scenes are gourgeous (when are'nt they). The length is great just like all of the ff games. The challenge is up there, again like always for example, i'm stuck on a boss and I have to go on missions (which is more fun than it sounds) the game makes you want to know what happens so you try real hard to get past the boss. here is essentialy how the game works you run around on the screen selecting a command like attack or any spells or materia you have set up or items. You have this thing called a dwm which keeps spinnig while you battle and it's like a slot machine because there's 3 slots and to get a limit break you need to get three of the same people in the dwm and acording on what person you get that decides what limit break you have there are also numbers which can tell you the streagth of it next the numbers (if they get arranged correctly) can give you a status change like inviinciblility or no mp cost and if the numbers read 777 that's a level up. (I like this battle system better than the first) the sound is great and I like the varienty in the remixes of the first ff7's tracks. all in all this gam eis one of the best out there for the psp so any one even if you haven't played an rpg before should buy this.
