Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3 rocks!
PostedDecember 7, 2008
Plainly put, this game is awesome! I'm a Naruto fan and when I saw the screenshots of this game I knew I had to get it. I also knew it would be good, and you know what, I was right! This game has over 40 characters! I counted and the exact number of characters is 43. All of them were unique in their own way, and I love playing as them all. The jutsu were cool, everyone had a different special move that did major damage. On to the graphics: The graphics were good, one of the best I've ever seen on the PS2. The sound: It was awesome, they had the voices very good. If you're a fan of Naruto, you'll recognize the voices. The game had many different modes you can do such as, training, Tanzaku Town (which is where you can by special things such as video clips of jutsu), Hero's History, and versus. If you're a fan of Naruto you will definitely love this game, I do. If you're not a fan of Naruto, it will probably not make much sense. But I still recommend this game.

good buy if u like it

This game has goods and bads. good stuff first: graphics, controls, characters, sound, and the interface. Now heres da bad stuff: the storyline, unlockables, and the challenge. the game really isn't that challenging if u ask me. i also wish the storyline was a lil longer, better, and made more sense. as for the walking and roaming around (the adventure) isn't very exciting. after i finished the whole game, all i could do was walk, and fight in exhibition. then it got very boring. plus, the unlockables weren't too exciting either. lastly, the challenge. if u ask me, it's not challenging at all. in conclusion, if you're a real huge fan of the naruto series, buy this game. also, if u like fighting and mini games, this game is for u! So far, THIS IS THE BEST NARUTO GAME U COULD BUY!

Good Game

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 has been one of the best Naruto games that has ever come out on stores, well, at least comparing it to other Naruto games. Let's start by the challenge; it's...decent, good, and entertaining. There are two modes: Ultimate Contest and Hero's History. The most enjoyable one, in my opinion, is the Ultimate Contest mode. Ultimate Contest mode has a completely original plot in which you have to win, obviously, a contest; this takes place in the village. After you win the contest, you enter Free Mode, which allows you to roam the village to your liking, take missions, and completing some battles. Hero's History is, well, the story being retold from the beggining up until the Sasuke Retreival Arc., which means that it contains spoilers for any of you who are new to Naruto. All in all, it will take you about one week, perhaps even less, to complete these two modes. Next we have the controls. The controls may take some time in getting used to, especially if your new at the Play Station, but once you get used to it, it'll get very easy. The graphics are decent, but there's so much room for improvement. I'm not talking about the village or the stages, because those are really well done; I'm talking about the characters. Sometimes, there are cut scenes and short movies; the characters faces look slightly flat, and the mouths don't move. In my opinion, all Anime/Manga games must have characters that move their mouths while speaking. The sound, it's good, but it is sometimes hard to understand what the characters say, so you have to read the subtitles. And for the hardcore Naruto fans outthere like me, you can also change between English and Japanese voice over. The special moves are really well done. Throughout the game, some characters, like Shizune, will teach you new moves when you do a favor for them. You can change your normal jutsus and your ultimate jutsu any time you wish too; however, in order for some ultimate jutsu to work, you must first buy items. An example would be a rubber ball for the Rasengan. The storyline is very fun, especially in Ultimate mode. When you finish Ultimate mode and enter Free Mode, some girls will ask you to eat dumplings with you, or sometimes Naruto offers to treat them; at the end Naruto may be utterly confused or disappointed, but I think it's nice to just watch the characters interact with each other. They're are a lot of unlockables, even after you complete Ultimate mode and Hero's History. Other than characters, you can also unlock pictures, movies, and sometimes buy, a 'Ninja Guide'. The amount of unlockable characters/items left me in awe, seeing as other Naruto games don't offer much as this one. All in all, it's a good game, definately worth the money and the time. I recommend this to all of those hardcore Naruto fans out there, since this is one of the best Naruto games that has been sold; however, if you're new to Naruto and don't want spoilers, then buy it (because Ultimate contest doesn't offer spoilers), but you may want to leave playing Hero's History until you reach at least chapter 135 of the anime.

Naruto Rocks!
PostedJuly 16, 2008
This is one of the best Naruto games there is for the Ps2. I already have the game and I already beat the thing and its preaty fun if your bored and have nothing to do like me. And for all naruto fans you should buy it and it has alot of character from the anime and dozens of new missions to complete and unlock. And they improved the skills which is a huge improvement. And the graphics are better to. The sound is one of the best. And difficulty is preaty okay. But in my oppinion I like the Uzumaki Chronicals game better than Ultimate Ninja games. But still a good game to buy. Go to google and find traillers and pics if your wanting to see how the game is like. And you might even buy the game SSo become the best ninja there is Naruto fans!
