I love it. I play it almost every day and I never get tired of it. The controls are easy, the levels of playing arent even that bad. This game is the best of all The Shows to come out.Ryan Howard was a good cover athlete. The rosters are even up to date as of when the game came out. It is the best game to come out PSP. No other game even comes close to this game. It could be very easy and let you win 35-0 or beat you down and win by a lot. It is insanely addicting. and a great game.The minigames like Home Run Derby are very fun to play. You can pick a lot of players and watch them hit a lot of home runs. It is a very well made game and a game that any person can play all day every day for either the PS2 or the PSP. Everyone should definetly consider buying this game if they have a PS2 or a PSP

This game was a very good game if you love the game of baseball. But if you just like it, it's okay. It gives a good feel for what it's like when you're in career mode and it's off-season features on season are good too. I personally recommend this game to anyone looking to enjoy a good game of baseball. The graphics are just good for a hand held system. The game is very realistic as far as the stuff you must do to get to the show. The goals which may sound simple are sometimes more difficult than may appear. But actually getting there is worth it. The increased amount of options for making your person is also good. For those of you who just want to play now, this is a great game for just that. Setting your roster and picking your starting pitching, your starting pitcher from both the active and inactive roster make for a complete experience. 1 thumb up.

MLB 08 is one of the best games out there for psp. when i turned it on i saw alot of game modes which are always good to have. My favorite thing about this game is probably the online play and how they show you were to aim the ball when pitching. THe only thing that really dissapointed me was the graphics. EVen though it is still on psp they should of taking more time to really make the graphics good on this game. But othere than that this is a great game. Also if you have mlb 07 or 06 get this one cause it is much better than the others. And if you want a challenge go online and play because it is way harder competion and way more fun that regular season and stuff like that. If you love baseball and want a really really good game than buy this game you wont be dissapointed.

This is a good game. The gameplay is great, and all of the things you love of a baseball game are there, especially the commentators. HOWEVER, some of the team uniforms and stadiums are not accurate (as if they made them from the 90's versions or so) and most of all, the cpu is weird. I played season mode and seems that it is purposely giving me a pattern of W-L-W-L-W-L-W-L-W-L-W-L. My teams W% is .500 and always seems to stay there, no matter how hard I try. It's almost impossible to get a winning streak going. Even againts the worst teams with your best pitcher, you still end up continuing the pattern, W-L-W-L-W-L. Your HRs seem to always fall short when the cpu wants to (i.e: 2 stolen HRs in 3 innings) and somehow its pitcher can easily get a double with some RBIs. It would be a lot better if the cpu can be more variant and not follow a pattern.
