This game is one of my favorite PSP games ever. It seems like this game never gets old. Everything about it is great. It is easy to learn, easy to play, and seems to never end. The difficulty is perfect. Easy, which is easy, all the way to chaos, which provides a good challenge. With the 70+ characters, there is always someone to level up and unlock new weapons for. There are also plenty of other items to unlock and skills to level up throughout the game. The gameplay is amazing compared to the other Warriors games for the PSP. You no longer play from room to room, but get the entire battlefield. Also the graphics are amazing for a PSP. Sure, they may not be as good as the 360's or PC's graphics, but it is a PSP. Overall, if you liked any other Warriors game and want a portable edition, this game is for you. If you havent played a Warriors game before, then this game is still for you. (and so are all the other Dynasty and Samari Warriors games out there.)

For any previous fan, or those new to the series, Warriors Orochi delivers in a big way on the PSP. The unification of Samurai and Dynasty Warriors was well thought out and executed giving us 70+ playable characters which gives the game tremendous depth and a character for every playing style. Graphics and sound are smooth and functional in a game that often has numerous characters on the screen at one time and constant action. I haven't noticed any pesky slow downs when there are many characters on the screen or when you unleash a musou or special attack. PSP's first offering of Dynasty Wariors did have such slow downs. This problem seems to be fixed. I'd have to rate the graphics as good as PS2. Let's be realistic, the PSP is not on the level graphically with the PS3 or Xbox 360, but for a handheld game the graphics are excellent. Unlockables are numerous. You begin the game with very few characters. Perhaps as few as a dozen, but many are unlocked as you play the Samurai Warrior or Dynasty Warrior factionalized storylines. In addition, there are some awesome weapon fusion options that allow you to combine certain properties of your weapons making them stronger. Better still, when a weapon becomes obsolete you can combine its properties with your newer stronger weapons. This, to me, ensures the time you put into a weapon is not for nothing. There are also bonus missions to unlock as you go all of which become available in Free Mode as well as Story Mode. The story lines are not the games best attribute but they are done well enough. They unfold between missions in the form of a story board or comic strip at times. The feel of the look and sound of the stories reminds me of bit of anime, though they aren't very animated, which isn't too surprising from Koei. That being said, I don't think anyone plays this game for the storylines. They serve their purpose. Period. The button layouts and controls work just fine. They are not unlike the layout you'd get on a platform version. I cannot personally state any complaint about them. In conclusion, if you want a mountain of playable and diverse characters and missions and the oppurtunity to KO 1000 warriors in 20 minutes, then this is your game. It's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The best thing about the game is that you actually have three playable characters during each mission which is great if you have several favorites or if you find yourself in some trouble. The only knock against the game is the storyline, which isn't exacty bad but it doesn't stand out, and some of the voice-over work is a touch corny for certain characters which can be disappointing, especially when they are awesome characters but they sound like a muppet. To the point, buy the game. It rocks and if you are already a fan of the series you'll not be disappointed. Also, if you own a PSP and want a storyline, buy FFVII Crisis Core.

SAME

lu bu (ver. 2)
Well if you ask me, this is the the same as the one released for the xbox 360 and ps3 version. The only difference noticeable is the shorter gameplay and that (obviously) the graphics are smaller and not as good. If you people out there did enjoy Warriors Orochi for the xbox 360 and ps3, this would be sufficient enough for you to enjoy on the road! My choice? I would stick to the Dynasty Warriors vol 2. or play it on Ps3 or Xbox 360 XD

Port

Guys, this is a port from a 360 game, and I am guessing will have the same stuff in it. The name Orochi is the main villian's name, as he is what the two warrior groups are fighting. graphics are from dw5 or sw2, and gameplay is the same as the older games. The three person groups give a great variety to the game and i can't wait to pick up this port.
