Amazing game with some problems
PostedAugust 8, 2010
Ok this game is simply one of the best games I've played on the psp.The story was one of the best I've seen the challange was great, the controls were difficult...alot easier one the ps3,and there are alot of customizable features that make your lightsaber cool to your taste but my advice if you have a ps3 or 360 get this game for those system but if you only have a psp get this regardless its a good game its just easier to control on the ps3 and 360.

A Great Game with a very easy storyline
PostedJune 19, 2010
Basic Review: Storyline: 8 out of 10 Graphics: 8 out of 10 Challenge: 6 out of 10 Custimization: 5 out of 10 Attack Moves: 8 out of 10 Bonus Content: 9 out of 10 Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a great game for all ages. In the story, you begin as the famous villain, Darth Vader. As you fight your way through your base while being attacked, you encounter a jedi master. You wound him and take his son, who you later raise as your apprentice. You then play as him, completing missions for Darth Vader. You complete missions for Vader until he truly accepts who you are. However, in one of the missions you are sent to kill a jedi. lt is only until after that victim's death you find out he is your father, and you now go out to betray Vader and seek revenge.... I liked this game, and l think most people who will play it will enjoy it as well. The graphics, missions, and storyline are good, along with the bonus content such as the game mode where you can challenge yourself to see how much enemies you can defeat in a row. The attack moves and variations are good too, and are similar to the ones in God of War: Chains of Olympus, when you are fighting a boss. The only thing l hated was the lack of challenge in the game. l beat it in 2 days, even with it set to the hardest difficulty level. The only hard part was finding all the holograms scattered throughout the map for bonus material. But in conclusion, l give this game a 8 out of 10 in total. See how it breaks down at the beginning of the article.

i find the gameplay fine but not exceptional, the graphics are great (for the PSP) but is better for the non-portable game systems.the sound is great but i have never found a game with bad sound.the different colored lightsabers are great, and the game modes like force duel, order 66,and the historic missions are pretty good. the storyline is good except they do the same places at least 2 times and are the almost the exact same.the game is too easy in my opinion. i hope you will take all this into consideration if you are thinking about buying this game. good luck with your decision.

Ranging from cool to boring to meh to cool again
PostedJanuary 2, 2010
On average, TFU wasn't a bad game. But for some reason, it just wasn't that great all of the time. Sure, it had some good ol' Star Wars action in there, but... the levels are repetitive, the secrets aren't really all that... secret... or rewarding for that matter... and the physics are clunky at times, usually when on the topic of knockback on the player. It's good for SW fans and some casual gamers, but for others the game will feel boring, being peppered with awesomeness every once in a while. If you are a big Star Wars fan, you might enjoy this game. It includes plenty of art (unless you are too casual or too lazy to actually pick up said art) as well as being able to not only fight classic characters like Shaak Ti or even Darth Vader himself, but play as them in the arena modes. So even with its slight clunkyness, repetitive levels, and low replay value, it still has fun things to do.
