The Get Up K1D
I guess my hands are too big.... :(
PostedJanuary 31, 2010
There are 2 things to take into consideration when using this controller: 1) If you are a large person (you have big hands) then you can still use this product but just realize that it was designed for people with small hands. My cousin and I were playing the new Resident Evil game on the Wii and about 45 minutes into game play my hands were killing me! I'm guessing that my cousin has average hands and even his were starting to hurt as well. 2) I don't know about you but I like to look down the sites of my gun. If the sensor bar was in the middle of the screen then I could do this. With the old NES Zapper you could do this and that gun didn't hurt my hand.. HA! But anyway, I couldn't aim down the sites and ended up just holding the gun down by my side. What's the point in owning this gun if you can't aim!? So I DO NOT recommend this product. I ended up just taking out the remote of the gun and played it like a normal Wii game.

SHOOT EM'
PostedSeptember 13, 2009
Wii perfect shot is awsome because it is perfect for shooting in shooting games. The reason I got this game was because I got Call Of Duty 3 and the first thing I knew was gameplay wouldn't have been better without the wii perfect shot. First things first i'll tell you about the design of the wii perfect shot. The design of the wii perfect shot is basic, the colors are solid white, orange, and light blue. The little tube were you plug in the nunchuck is plain black. In my thoughts I think it looks fine in those 4 colore because If you were to imagine how it would look like in rainbow colors it wouldn't match with the solid white wii remote controller. Second I would like to describe the functionality. The functionality is good I guess if you are not a person who gets mad at first time you try something. Because you have to be close to the t.v. you can't just go sit on the couch and play, you have to stand and be close to the sensor bar unless you bring the sensor bar close to you which is a pretty clever good idea. Finally I like to describe the durability to you. The durability is wonderful obviously. Like why would this thing break if you drop it or bang it against something not that really hard. The wii perfect shot is strong and may last forever if you take care of it well. Now that I told you about the design, functionality, and the durability it is time for the wrap up. This product that nintendo wii took out will blow you in your game like never before. It's way diferent that anything you saw before for a game system. And it feels like you are holding a real gun. So get Wii Perfect Shot if you like playing shooting games.

The Living Ham
A perfect shot indeed
PostedJuly 8, 2009
After using the Nintendo branded Wii gun and another generic knock off, I would have to say that this is by far the best one for any type of shooters. Comfortable to use for extended periods, nice weight to it (with Wiimote), and it's still functional with a pass though port for the Nunchuk. It also has a nice spring loaded trigger that can take some abuse. Speaking of the trigger, it's designed to hit the B button on the bottom, which makes Perfect for games where you cannot change the button mapping (some other Wiimote guns only allow the Z-Button to be used...). However there are a few downsides. The first would be actually getting the Wiimote into the thing. Maybe it was just me, but i felt like i was going to snap off the little connector on the inside. But once it's in, it doesn't move around. It was just a pain initially. The second thing that might be a down side for some people is the aiming notch. There is a back notch but no front notch. No big deal I guess, but it might be nice to have to aim just a bit better. Also the grip may be a bit small for people with larger hands and fingers. Over all this is a great Wii gun grip. As the name says, its a perfect shot.

Great gun in every respect
PostedApril 14, 2009
I picked this up at a local store for Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles and its worked great so far. The controller fits in the gun very snugly and all the buttons are still easily accessible. The price is a bargain too. The only drawback I could find is that it can get uncomfortable at times. The grip is a bit too wide for my tastes, but the biggest problem by far is the weight of the thing when you have the controller fitted in it. With the Wiimote on it, it becomes so heavy at the front it will make your hand tired after only 20-30 minutes of play because of how uneven it is. Fortunately this is easily fixed. You can balance the weight of the gun by adding some weight to the back inside the grip. Even though it doesn't sound like it would help, balancing it out makes a world of difference. Just remove the screws, open it up, and tape something to the inside of the grip to weigh it down. I used two big heavy bolts I had sitting around my garage but fishing weights or anything heavy will do.
