not as good as i wanted but still way past cool

the game is a let-down yes (much like most recent sonic games) but that doen't mean it's no good. in fact this is my all time favorite game! but cmon it's sonic and you expect him to deliver speed. and he does...half the time! the day levels have sonic blasting through enemies and running around loops and the new speed boosts. eight kinds of fun those day levels:) however the werehog levels as cool as they may sound are not! sonic exchanges his speed for power and the ability to stretch his arms. as you progress the night levels get better with combos you unlock. but they seem to last forever and slow the game down literally:( the graphics are solid espescially in the opening cinema! however i would have liked to see more characters than:sonic,tails,amy,and chip. chip is kinda annoying but he kinda sets the game up for it's final boss dark gaia. the boss levels are the best EVER! but the final boss is very hard it took me a day to beat it. bottom line: a blast from start to finish sonic fans will enjoy it and i highly reccomend you pick it up;)
A lot of people like thE game and honestly, I don't know why! the only part that I actually liked was when you play with normal Sonic, that's the only thing that's good because everything else sucks! for example that werehog business it's just so stupid! it was bad to begin with, not only is it boring to play with that werehog, but it's also, not the Sonic I know, speaking of BORING! you have to talk to people in order to advance to the next level, now that's beyond boring! and they have nothing interesting to say! and what's with that other bull they did with normal Sonic, is that afters beating the first fun level with him you have to run through that exact level all over again and you now have to do something like "get 150 rings" also that new character "Chip" he's the stupidest character EVER! overall most of this game is just boring and no one should play this game!

The Absolute WORST sonic game ever made!

Let me just spit this out right now stop buying sonic games after sonic riders zero gravity. this includes sonic and the secret rings and after. I originally bought this game thinking it was gonna be the greatest sonic game ever made... BIG BIG MISTAKE! Just warning you, Sonic + Werehog = Oil + Water. What they don't show you on the trailer is the werehog parts of sonic unleashed, its EXTREMELY repetitive and a little annoying overtime. I'm glad i was able to trade it in for some credit. Why is Sega Doing this to Sonic!? I think segas latest sonic games have been destroying the blue hedgehogs reputation completely, you just don't feel that speed rush like you do in the older sonic games. My Favorite sonic game is Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, that's where i feel like I'm going at super sonic speed when controlling sonic. To conclude my opinion, DONT WASTE YOUR $$$ ON THIS ONE FOR SURE!

This was a pretty good game but i have a couple problems with it. One was the camera. Most of the sonic games i've played let you move the camera but not this one. Some times i'd turn a corner and get attacked without being able to move the camera. i ended up dying every time except once where I was lucky. Next is when you're the werehog. Why don't they let you just run on all fours automatically instead of, "tap twice in the same direction to move faster." That would be nice. Third, when you're the werehog for my controller it didnt pick up when i tried to attack so i got hit several times before hitting back. The music is pretty good. Even though I miss the rock music/techno music it deserves a 10. Especially the first level, apotos windmill isle. I've been trying to find it. Lastly, you might prefer the wii version of this game because i think it's more fun.
