Live 09 is definitely a step up from Live 08. Starting off with the fact that rosters will be updated on a daily bases. The computer A.I. has been upgraded immensely now when you play vs. a team that has a high rating you have to use strategy and patience to actually attack the basket where as in previous Live games you could easily go to the hoop and without any difficulty get continuous fast breaks. Live 09 has stopped this ridiculous style of play now when you get a steal in 09 your actually challenged on your way to the hoop and dunks and lay ups are much more contested than ever before. The game play and controls are very user friendly. The fact that now there are much more international teams than ever before along with actual international rules makes this the best Live game up to date. Also one of the best improvements from this years Live game is that players have much more life like movements than ever before Just like in GTA 4. It may not be as great as GTA 4, but it sure is the best NBA Live in the series

I'm ready for NCAA Basketball

I initially put NBA 2k on reserve, but I saw a couple of NBA Live promos from the internet and television. I quickly went down to GameStop and changed my reservation. I'm glad I did because now I love this game. I can't put it down. The player animation, detail, and gameplay are just unreal along with the HD experience. Nothing can beat that. At first I was hoping GameStop would have a demo in store that would make my decision a little easier, but I went along on faith hoping EA put out the game they promised and they didn't disappoint at any level of the game. The game DNA in which player stats, injuries, hot streak, and roster changes is great and I don't know why anyone didn't think of this before but now I'm thrilled EA did. I hope this review lets everyone know that EA Sports is back on top. And if NCAA Basketball will be using the same engine as Live then I'm all set and ready to play.

Best NBA Game Ever

I pre-ordered this game, and i got it the day it came out. I played it for 6 hours straight because it was so fun. The online game play is really good. The NBA Live 365 is good so far. The DNA is the best feature because it will tell you where you need to work on your game. The animation is really good like Tony Parker will do his teardrop and it looks just like his teardrop looks in real life. Same with almost all of the player's shots. It also doesn't let you make crazy shots unless you have the difficulty all the way down. The NBA Live Academy is the most innovative thing i have seen in a video game because it will teach you how to use all of the new features of the game and it will help you get better at everything on the game. So i highly recommend this game!
