I see a lot of reviews about how bad it is, so I gave it a try. Ends up, it's nothing like the PS3. It's very much the classic 2-D style from the past Spider-Man game from the 90s. It's actually good, and very similar to the classic "web of fire" for the 32x, even the titles are similar. However, the graphics and game play on web of fire for 32x is still better than this PS2 spider-man 2-D.
It's too bad it got so many bad reviews, probably by young kids whom never seen the classic video games, and expecting to be the 3rd person 3-D style. For us, older middle-aged gamers, it's nice change back to the good old days.

I rented "Web of Shadows" for the Wii a long time ago and it was fantastic. So when I came across what I thought was the same game for ps2, i had to have it. It turns out they are COMPLETELY different games... This one is a 2D world that is just about identical to the spiderman games for the gameboy advanced. I rate this poorly because the developers could have done MUCH better with this game but for whatever reason, chose not to. If your into that classic gameplay feel, then you may like this game.

My bro got this for chrismas and its a cheap rip off a discrerase to gameing never get it BUT IF YOU WANT THIS GAME I SUGGEST THAT YOU GET IT FOR XBOX 360 OR PLAYSTATION 3
