Socom is a great online game w/ no story mode

Socom confrontation is a game i originally rented because i couldn't find any other one. At first i was highly disappointed by the fact that they had no story line. But once i got into the game i was very impressed and literally couldn't stop playing it. The only reason that i gave this game a 10 is because to someone like me i find story mode a equally as important part. This game was VERY impressive when it comes to interactions online everyone has a microphone and how you communicate is something that u hardly ever see. People actually communicate in ways to help you beat the other team and ways that help everyone on your team. As i said in the beginning originally i rented it well i now bought the game mainly because it had a low price for such a excellent game. I would recommend getting this game 1 for its cost and 2 because its a great online play. IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME RENT IT FIRST or trust me and just buy it

This Game is definitely worth buying. I always wanted to play a Socom game, and well lets just say I knew what I wanted. This game is awesome, however before the patch it had issues with the interface and servers, people would automatically get booted, severe lagging, some people with invincibility. But even with the problems I was an addict to this game. For the first week I couldn't help but play when I got off work @ 6 until 2 in the morning. And even to this day I stay up til 12 or 1 playing. An absolutely awesome game to play online with, however no storyline at all, bc theres no campaign. But I don't even miss it. It's too much fun playing with my friends and clan members. Don't look at the ratings and decide not to buy this game. It is so worth it!!

Man, I read all of the reviews for this game, and decided a long time ago I wasn't going to get it. Well, my girlfriend bought me warhawk for Christmas and I wasn't happy with it , so I traded it in for this one. I am glad I did. This is a great real time war game. Alot of people complained about the lagging and bugs, but most of them must have been fixed because I don't see them anymore. Some of these people say "It doesn't compare to COD4", thier right....it is a completely different style. It is just as good. I was hooked on COD4 and I still love it. This is just a different style. The controls and game play are different, but this game is still awesome. My only thing is the way you rank. I think you have to be in a clan to rank which kind of sucks, but this game still Rocks.....

Not As Bad As Everyone Says

this game is not as bad as everyone says. this game is actually very fun. i debated on getting this game but then i decided to because i loved the first two socom games and this is just as good. the only thing is that there is no storyline gameplay. its all online. the controls arent too hard to get used to and if you are left handed or whatever you can move your screen to whatever side fits you the best. also the weapons in this game are very nice and you can put whatever you want on them (as long as your weapon has them available). all in all this is a pretty good game. you cannot compare this game to any first person shooters because it is totally different. everything is different then the fps games and is not comparable. also, check out quantum of solace. its a great game and the call of duty 4 engine is nice
