Greatest game of all time.

Persona 4 is the most excellent game I've played in a long while.
The game includes features like;
- Creating Personae with parenting abilities. (eg, Matador (with Mudo) + Gdon (with Auto-Sukukaja) = x Persona (with Mudo and Sukukaja)) Though it'd take a few rolls to get that perfect set.
- Dungeon Grinding. It's easy to grind the dungeons in this game, only because your SP isn't fully required for healing your characters. You can get certain Arcana Choice chances to heal yourself.
- Arcana Choice. All the Arcana cards are available after battle sometimes and when you can, see if it's upright or downright effect.
(eg, Moon Upright Effect Is EXP Boost.)
- Day/Afternoon/Evening System. Although it doesn't go on gameplay timing, it is a major factor in this game.
And much much more!

never have i encountered a rpg that had me so wrapped up in the story and game play as this 1 has
it may start out slow but once it picks up i was astounded by how well it played
and coming from a ps2 game that's a great deal of a improvement
i would strongly recommend this to all gamers who likes to have a game with a long compelling story line and great deal of interactions
interacting with friends family trying to rescue people while leading a school life it brings out the most in this game
make your choices wisely because a wrong choice could be your undoing

This is the first Persona game I have played, and I definitely plan on playing the others after I've played this one. At first I was rather reluctant at playing this game because a part of the storyline seemed odd to me, that's all I can say without giving away too many spoilers, but I kept playing and it was well worth it. The story has huge twists, having a limited amount of time to work on social links gives some challenge to the game. I also loved how you had to think of their personality then answer, gave strategy to the game as well. When I discovered that the game came with a soundtrack I first thought "why?", but this game definitely deserves a soundtrack, because I later found the music is amazing and fits every situation perfectly.The Japanese to English is also perfect, the Japanese words are pronounced correctly and for the one anime scene where their mouths move the voice over was right on target. Though there are some words that aren't pronounced correctly, they aren't Japanese, they're more like expressive words and it seems like the voice actor pronounced them the way they thought their character would or something like that. The 3D graphics I'm pretty on the fence about, they seem pretty typical yet at the same time unique and quite detailed. However the 2D graphics are gorgeous, and I especially loved the anime-like scenes, though they may not do well with all games they certainly complemented Persona 4. I was surprised at their effort to make the monsters different from each other, some are more than just a recolor, their appearance actually changes though it is slight and fits each dungeon's story. Another thing I enjoyed about the game was the mythology, folklore, ect. I love that kind of stuff. You can even learn things from this game! I certainly did. The only things that bothered me weren't enough to ruin the game, I would like maybe less main characters, I found having to keep them all up to level was annoying, though I do see why they have so many because of the advanced battle system with all the strengths and weaknesses, it also added more challenge and strategy to the game, I also didn't like that you only had the choice of equipping one accessory, it made accessories rather pointless, I found the story rather short but still very amazing, and perhaps more detailed instructions on things like fishing. If you like or love role playing games, you should definitely try Persona 4, though parts of the story may seem odd, keep playing, you won't be disappointed.
