best RPG game for the ps2 ever

ok first off i dont care who you are you will defianetly love this game. this is literaly the best RPG game i have ever played. first off the sound. at first it can seem a little wierd but it actually goes great with the game and it has many different songs to it. the storyline is extreme, it is very complex but great there will defiantly be alot of twists and turns and will make you laugh your but off at times, make you frustrated and can make you cry if you. and a little warning there is more than one ending to this game and to get the true ending you have to anser questions wisely and dont let your emotions get to you. the graphics are defianty top notch and on par with final fantisy 12, and the god of war games and there are many characters as well. the game play is realy fun and dont expect to beat this game in one sit or you will probably end up killing your self from lack of sleep. its an 90 hour game plus with all of the social links and dongen crawling there is. it is quite a challange to beat dont expect to go through this game easily even on beginer it is a tough game. over all i would defianatly recemend this game to anyone.

So, I have been a long time fan of Shin Megami Tensei for a while now, Along with the Persona series.and i think this is an amazing buy, may be a bit pricey, but TOTALLY worth it, for past Persona players, this game could be awkward in the beginning, Probably being the brightest Persona so far with all the yellow and so forth.The story is very deep and is actually a good mystery game, and will keep you wondering further and further,Some of the characters felt like they were recycled versions of P3 though, so i did not really think they tried outrageously hard for the character concept.The background music is to die for, most music with lyrics don't really work for games, but P4 pulled it off, sometimes the battle music being unfitting and annoying, you will get used to it.Your relationships with not so big characters actually looked really good, like the new School Team one, we dont have to deal with the ugly guy form P3, also it actually varied more, like in P3 all 3 clubs you will end up with the same dude, but THIS time you actually get different people for a different classIf you are on the edge for buying this, i highly recommend this game for any RPG player looking for a challenge

Atlus does it again

For anyone reading this, wondering if Persona 4 is a good game, there are a couple very strong clues here. 1) Atlus; 2) Shin Megami Tensei. Although Atlus has a tendency to port the stranger Japanese titles to the US lately, the Shin Megami Tensei name should stand out to any RPG fan alive. Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2, Devil Summoner, Nocturne, and of course both the Persona 3 titles – all quality works and you can expect the same battle system design, same spells, skills, etc. The story line features some quirky Japanese high school students who are thrown into unofficially investigating some local murders in a small rural town. The subject matter is “adult” at times and the language is colorfully crude at times but there is nothing “over the top” offensive here. I would let my 15 year old daughter play this for sure. You spend lots of time battling but this is not a dungeon crawl grind as so many RPG’s seem to think necessary. Instead, you will forge new relationships with classmates, adults, friends, co-workers, teammates, etc. There is a lot of focus on the development of your character as a well rounded person. Study is important, so is hanging at the mall with your friends. Music, sports, education – it’s all important to your ability to solve the murders. This concept sounds much quirkier than it actually is. The whole game design works very well and thus is able to pull the player deep into the game and storyline. I very much enjoyed this game and thought it was better than Persona 3 – at least the player has more control over his group’s battle decisions and the voice acting is A +++ top notch seller – LOL. Get the game - it has a lot of first time and replay value – hours of fun.

Another Persona with a new twist!

For all of you RPG fans out there and those that are new to this game, I recommend that you buy this game. This game rocks and everything about it just made me want to play it over and over again. If you ever played Persona 3 (P3) or Persona 3 FES then you will love this game even more. This game brings an exciting storyline about murder and mystery. Not only the storyline is exciting but the gameplay is even better. You will live as a "Persona user" fighting monsters know as shadows in one world called the Midnight channel and you will go to school in the real world meeting and making new friends unlocking new social links. Challenge in this game isn't too difficult if you have played P3 or P3 FES. If you haven't played one of these games then just read a guide or something and you won't have much trouble. The graphics are not bad. All of the graphics in this game are animes. I have nothing else to say except: this is the best game on ps2 that came out recently. Buy it and you'll love it.
