Just picked up a new psp and was gonna buy Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition. Wound up w/this one, but will never regret it! I used to play it on Xbox 360, and it's almost the same, except for one BIG difference....In the 360 version (Complete Edition), you can total your car out in a race or just driving around. This factor can cost you the race. In the psp version (LA REmix), you don't have to worry about that. Your ride will take damage, but you don't total out. To make it better, you don't have to buy special access to decals & other details @ the shop (unlike the 360 version). The only downside to Remix is that in the beginning of career mode, you are automatically assigned a starter car (instead of getting to pick one). Otherwise, awesome game.

Awesome game!! Great for all gamers! Graphics are okay. Sound is very good. Would recommend for all people that like car games!!

This game is so awesome, I would recommend tis to racing game junkies like myself
What I like: The sound is awesome with headphones, it really sounds like an actual car! The graphics are excellent as well as the gamelay. Customization is great.
What I dont like: The game does not have an online setting in which my opinion would make the game even better. But other than that, the game recieves at A+++!

Great game But Missed a few Marks on Certain areas

The Reason i got this game was because not only am i from LA but i played Dub edition 3 on both psp and Ps2 and i fell in love with the graphics and the gameplay i mean i could not put my system/controller down, and so i figured that this game would be just as good if not better than DE3 (sigh) ..... In my opinion they had some hits and misses they could have done a little better with the graphics i was expecting brilliant colors and shiny paint i wanted to feel like i was actually working on my own car instead all i got was some soft focus on a sunset background which leads me to the Backdrop it could have been soooo much better la is way more than just palm trees and freeways they could have done more research in that department, the sound is ok and as for the music im really missing that skip feature from the last game i enjoyed being able to change the song at will or picking the groups of songs i want to listen to that suit my mood that day. that being said i loved the playful banter via cell phone between racers. it added that much needed realism that i mentioned earlier even though i thing the do need to tweek the game a bit i enjoyed driving in LA again and even though it did feel like the creators were trying to be too much like need for speed underground 2 and it didnt really work as planned, it came out a heck of a lot better than the N4SUR for psp though.and i would recommend to someone who enjoys racing games and wants one to kill time.
