People that rate this bad are only mad because they hate change. And that means they wont get far in life or gaming. This game is so amazing I was addicted to it in an hour. I was mad that not ever oerson had their story, and you can't swim like they said you could in the trailer. BUT OH WELL! Live with it, its an amazing game. I am also mad that they lost some of the best characters... But oh well, they still have the BEST characters. I enjoyed this game very much, two thumbs up. And they made Lu Xun even cooler, I can now stand to watch him fight without getting dizzy from his spinning and jumping.

NOT AS BAD AS EVERYONE SAYS

It is more historically accurate this time around which made the storyline twice as enjoyable. Most of the characters look just like they did in the show. I happen to love the new RENBU and the new weapons. They stepped up the graphics and made mostly everything to look very detailed. I know this is a nerdy thing to say but event the encyclopedia is even better. Challenge mode is pretty gay, you might want to stay away from it lol. The only horrible thing about this game is the fact that half of the characters DO NOT have a story line. HOW THE HECK CAN YOU NOT GIVE SUN CE HIS OWN STORY!!!!!!!!! Plus they cut out about 7 people(Including Xing Cai daughter of Zhang Fei) with out replacing them with new characters. All and all good game, more fun if you watch Romance of the Three Kingdoms then play.

Wow, i loved DW5... DW6 must be... WHAAAT?

If you loved Dynasty Warriors 5, don't even THINK about getting Dynasty Warriors 6. The Wepons have changed for the worse, the characters that you used to know and love have transformed into these new people that are barely recognizeable as a shell of their former selves (most of them anyway) I am not sure about what could have possibly possed the designers to make Ma Chao, Sun Jian, and Gan Ning go... Super Saiyan!? I knew of all of these flaws before I bought the game and thought "Well maybe it will be better in other ways." For all of you who have thought about buying it but havent yet - don't! It does not make up for it in any way! There is no Legend mode or Extreme mode as we knew it before (and personally those were my favorite parts of the game). Also the movement in the game is a bit annoying and when you are knocked down it takes forever to get up which really takes away from the intensity of the game. And one thing that would seem like it wouldnt be that important is also distressing - it is very difficult to see your arrow on the map, and even moreso on 2 player mode.<br> I am devistated that Dynasty Warriors will never be the same again, and what used to be one of my favorite game series is now dead to me.

Good but not great.

I love the Dynasy Warriors series and have played every one besides the empires games which bore the crap out of me. The fighting style is fun as with all the others and the graphics are really good as usual. I love the co-op play when you have a friend over that doesnt have the system. That is my favorite part of these games it maks it alot more fun when you can sit back and hack and slash next to someone. The cons of this game are few but major. They added a nice group of characters to this game but have given them story lines that suck and have very repetative battles that are the same with each character. They weapon system is interesting but boring cause there are no secret weapons you can unlock. Getting characters unlocked is problably the most exciting thing in the game. I think they need to go back to giving you bodyguards and bring meng ho back and add some more battles to each character.
