Huge Disappointment

I played the very first Dynasty warrior game like 7-8 years ago and i fell in love with the game. Then after missing all series 2-4 i finally got my hands on DW5 and i was so excited about DW6 coming out. Boy was i disappointed. Instead of making the game better they took out all of the decent things from DW5 and all you have to do is keep pressing square and once in a while circle button. There is nothing strategic about this game. I thought that for DW6 they would expand the country, make it more interesting, make your brain ponder more or something, but no this game is the same as DW5 but worse. As you can no longer create your own character and as i said they eliminated the only strategic aspect of the game. If you like games that you do not have to use your brain at all and just want to keep pressing one button then go ahead and buy this game. For me if DW7 ever comes out i will wait for the reviews of other people and rent it or try it at my friend's before i rush to buy this game again. At the rate that they are going on improvements it looks like DW104 might be a real hit. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Well. This game is always good overall, but the storyline is the same as ever. Its nice when they come up with new battle levels, but Im sick of the Battle of Chi Bi and other major battles. The battles should be scrapped and made new to make a better and unpredictable plot and overall game. Another thing is the camera is way too close to the character you are controlling. You need a button to make the camera back up. I get cross eyed when I fight Lu Bu. You don't want to be cross eyed when you fight that guy thats for sure. I did like how you could swim, climb up ladders, defeat Gate Guards on top of the big gates, and the overall playability has improved. The graphics are great, but if you look back at Dynasty Warriors 3 you tend to notice that not as much detail is put into the environments in the recent Dynasty Warriors games as in Dynasty Warriors 3. All of the battle environments seem similar, but in Dynasty Warriors 3 they were all very different and it made all the more interesting. I miss it when you could make up your own General in Dynasty Warriors 4 if I am correct. It was so fun, but I wish there was more options to choose from to make them different. You only got like 10 options to choose from for each feature on your general. Overall a good game. Especially if its your first time playing a Dynasty Warriors game. Just needs improvements...

Having already played a previous Dynasty Warriors game which I purchased in 2006, I was rather excited for this one. Well, first of all, if you already have a Dynasty Warriors game particularly the predecessor, Dynasty Warriors 5, I suggest you don't bother buying this game as nothing much has changed. Actually, I would rather much prefer the fifth installment since it had much easier controls. The improvements in the latest version are unnecessary. It would have been wiser to invest in better graphics, especially when "tearing down doors" or other breakable objects, which I must say are ridiculous. Other than that, if you don't have a Dynasty Warriors game yet, I highly suggest getting this (or the preceding one) since it's a very fun game to play. The scenarios and targets are challenging even on easy mode.

the ultimate dynasty warriors experience for ps 2, had it at one time was stolen plan to buy very soon. the best part is the new uniforms and weapons. this game is 20 times better then its predacessor. you will not be dissapointed

All right the reason you should buy this game is because... well it doesn't matter if the game has good graphics (it would if it was a good game which it is of course). The game has a few new features like when u kill someone they don't disappear or they stay longer than usual and u can swim in water climb up towers , etc. So if you really, really want a strategy game I would prefer if you would get this game. I would say that it would be the number one game in the world next to Call of Duty World at War Final Fronts. And there are a few glitches in the game too you can walk strait through the enemy and they wont notice u, you can be invisible by killing 1,000,000 in all not in one mission cause that would be impossible u know what I'm saying.
