With The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, players will not only be challenged to survive Butcher Bay, but will also engage in a new single-player experience and, for the first time in the Riddick universe, take action in intense multi-player combat. The game introduces the ominous Merc-ship Dark Athena, which sits silent like a marauding spider, awaiting helpless prey in the dark reaches of the galaxy. Players must face a large, bloodthirsty operation led by the dreaded Captain Revas and her slaves-turned-controllable combat drones, storm though death-defying events and fight fierce enemies in a battle of malice and gore.

Is it really that worth it?
Ok..I got the game and expected it to be go, it had two games in it, Butcher Bay and Dark Athena...Buther Bay had a long story line, Athena...well...was too short of a story line...I say forget giving us a 2 in one and give us a good long story line one...I got bored after the first day. If your planning on buying this game, buy a second one too. You'll get annoyed by this game and want to play another. I thought the detail was kinda eh. Looked somewhat like a Quake creator, with the drones in Athena. Butcher Bay is a worthwhile story but Athena is just like an extension, not much extra. I thought your life-span was short, every shot brought me down to almost nothing, and in close combat it's constant block and attack. I try so hard to get the timing for the counter attacks, I can only button mash to get the timed right, and that's only 50% of the time. To those who think I'm lying, the best of luck to you enjoying this game.
