This game is the most realistic baseball game next to the MLB 09 The Show. I just got this game yesterday for playstation three and it is a really good game. The camera angle is great, it is also very clear. The controls are awesome too. I like them because they are extremely easy to use. The interface was great. I loved it like any other baseball game. The statistics were good too. Not as good as the camera angle, but very good. The challenge was great. It was just like a real baseball game. I felt as if I was really there in the game. The graphics were great. Not only was it on a playstation three, the graphics were good alone. The sound was great too. I could hear all those people screaming and cheering for the baseball players. Last, the team/player variety was great too. I would recommend this game to any baseball fan

i have played the show 09 and 2k9 and i prefer 2k9, the commentating is like being at a real game, i like using the analog stick to hit and pitch the only thing i thought the show did better in was graphics, other then that 2k9 was over all more like a real game on tv to me...a few buddies over who where watching said the same thing that it seemed like an actualy game with the broadcasters and stuff, the show is a excellent game also, but i just like 2ks atmospher more because it feels like a game on tv, the show basicaly bored me to death, i cant play 11 innings of a game thats putting me to sleep, i am 1 of the ps3 users who have actualy brought mlb 2k9 instead of the show and im happy with my purchase, for a game that is suppose to suck, the gamestop i go to had no used 2k9 in stock, and 2 used the show 09 in stock so you tell me...

I've bought MLB 2k9 since they've been making them and I've always shunned away from the the MLB The Show series cause it was too cartoonish and the flow didn't seem realistic. But this year it only took me about 20 minutes of MLB2K9 gameplay and a trip back to gamestop and buying MLB 09: The Show. This year I was wrong and learned from my mistake of buying 2K9. It seems like this year they both took a flip-flop. Great gameplay from MLB 09: The Show. The realism the stadiums this game is by far the best graphical sports game to date. The flow of the gameplay is flawless from the pitching composures to the batting stances to the little things like batter reactions to robbing catches and talking to umpires. Don't buy Major League Bust 2K9. It feels like your playing a ps2 game. Whoever has played this series for a lengthy amount of time knows what I'm talking about. They should've left the game the same way as 2k8 cause that was actually a worth while game.

This is a big let down. The graphics are not good and the controls are hard to figure out. The "next gen controls" are unnecessary. The good is the players do seem realistic. They do some neat extra animations that make it seem realistic but thats about it. I picked up this for the xbox and the show for ps3 and after about 15 minutes of playing it, i'm already planning on trading it in. The stadiums look pretty good and the play by play is cool, trying to figure out the new menu is very confusing and the trade system is too much work. The game presents you with player cards to trade so if you don't know the players' stats, you have to keep going back and forth in order to get it done instead of having the stats compared right in front of you.
