It's okay...

This game is okay. I've played both 2k and this version and this games playability is a lot better than 2k10. Go read my review on 2k10 over in that games sections. Anyway about this game... The graphics for a ps3 game are sub-par. 2k10's graphics are way better, but the game is playable unlike 2k10. The only real problem with the playability of this game is when you go to drive to the basket and for some odd reason you pretty much always loose the ball. It happens about 50% of the time even when you are backing down the cpu or opposing player. The games AI is pretty good, whereas they help you rebound and play decent defense. Whereas on 2k10 the cpu doesn't rebound a thing and just lets the other cpu drive right by them. In addition, the cpu doesn't make every shot they take. Whereas on 2k10 they drill everything. You have a decent shot at winning every game, but you have to deal with the fact that you can't drive the ball. The passing is a little shotty too. You don't always pass the ball to the guy you want and most of the shots you take are in weird positions. All in all if I was you, I'd buy either 2k9 or 2k8, which were far superior in playability. EA and 2k sports need to rethink their workings on these basketball games because every since 2k8, the game play has gone down.

The more I play Live 10, the better I like it

I am really starting to like this game more than NBA 2K10 because it's a lot more fun than NBA 2K10. The controls on Live 10 are much improved and a better flow than in previous Live games. The areans and player's intros are vastly improved and the crowd chants are much better than 2K10, where the crowd says the same things over and over. The graphics are improved as well, but comparing the two games, 2K10 player models looks more realistic but the player faces look way better in Live 10. I just wonder what's up with 2K10 and the pointy shoulders for all the players, just weird. Live is not too far from 2K and might have the better game this year to me. I think if Live can make the players look more realistic, then it will surpass 2k definitely. Might need to ask a Player Mode like NBA 2K also.

fix this crap

this game is very buggy. why cant you play a player thats a center in power forward postion. or point gaurd as shooting guard. like if you wanted to play kobe at point and put fisher at shooting guard you cant. the game will change them as soon as you get a time like free throws. or if you put somebody in off the bench they will take them out in put back in the starter at the end of the quarter. sometimes you take a time out to change players and the top button to change the player wont come up so you just wasted a time out and its impossible to do it during a game. the game dose all of this with auto sub on off. this game is not what i expected im very upset at it the foul calling is horrable at times, you get a goal tending when the ball isnt even in the air sometimes. i would not recomend this game unless the fix some things. i have all the lives for ps3 and still have them and this is the worst the challenge is better then i have seen in other lives its just buggy as hell they need to fix it or im gonna switch to 2k again just like i did last year because there was no challenge. this year there is a challenge but its kinda hard to play with all the bs it has.

reverse-lay-up

LIVE IS BACK!!!!

First of all I want to thank EA for bringing Live back to life!! I remember LIVE since SEGA GENESIS and I know EA won't give up. Do you remember when MJ did the wrap around reverse lay up during the 90's and I did the same move with my SEGA GENESIS? Man I felt like I was MJ!! I wish EA would make a team in LIVE 11 that you can play during the early 90's where all the players are authentically play and look like in the 90's. I mean players must be wearing the not so short shorts and MJ would do his craziest lay ups and dunks while Pippen, Grant , Cartwright, Paxon and BJ Armstrong would help him in the finals. And Barkley would still be with the Sixers and there would be slam dunk contest between MJ and Dominick!! Ok back to present...bottom line...get NBA LIVE 10 and don't believe on reviews like IGN...believe me!!
