Great Soccer game

This is a great game. I've waited to get it and when I finally did, I can't stop playing it. Here are my points of this game. 1. The best thing I like about this game is how realistic the gameplay is. You really have to try to score a goal just like in real life. Also your the cpu opponent has the same task, so it's very fair. 2. I played the Be A Pro mode and will only be rating this mode. It's fun customizing your own pro (if anyone figures out how to use the Game Face feature, please let me know, I can't figue it out!) however your equipment is very limited, you have to unlock them and the tasks are rather difficult. You can put your player on any team and take them through a couple of seasons. Your pro can even try to win a spot on a national team. You can choose to control only your pro or the whole team. Personally I like to only control my pro cuz it's the best and fastest way to gain better ratings. It takes some getting used to since you can only use the camera angle that faces you toward the opposing goal. One bad thing is that you can't see the season ahead. You only know who you are playing next until it's time to face them. Also you can't manage your team (ie: make subs, change formation) until your pro is the team captain, but I guess that adds another fun task. 2. One thing that did bother me was the camera angels. I could not find an angle that shows a lot of the field and a lot of player details. The cameras are either too close for playmaking or to far to see details. The uniform and player details are superb, and sadly the best way to see them is during close up instant replays. 3. The stadiums are rather limited. Not all team stadiums are available. My team is the LA Galaxy and there is no Home Depot Center. However the stadiums that they do have look great except the fans could use a little more work and the stadium announcers could do better. 4. You can choose from almost any team in the world in almost any league. You can even pick most national teams. You can also pick the team's home or away uniforms at your liking. Can't change the goalie's uniform though, it always stays at default. Overall this is a great game. If you love or even just like soccer, get this game. It's fun, very realistic and addicting.

This is the real FIFA

I have Fifa 09 and Fifa 08, but when I got Fifa 10, I was completely shocked. This is the best Fifa by far. It has great graphics, great statistics, great everything. The thing I like the most about this game is multiplayer. When you play multiplayer in Fifa 10, it is better than any other fifa. If you see Fifa 10, forget about fifa 09 or fifa 08 or Pro Evolution Soccer, just take Fifa 10 and get home as fast as you can to play it. I have it on PS3 and i recommend it on PS3 because in my opinion, PS3 is the best game system to have. Now, back to the game. I love it. It has everything it needs to have, Everything. So when you can't decide whether to get it or not, GET IT. When you can't decide to get Fifa 10 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, GET IT. All I can say about this game is: MUST BUY.

This game is abosutely amazing. Like the guy under me said, why are people giving this game a bad review? It's sports game of the year on IGN. It's intuitive and a very good challenge. If you know anything about soccer, then you won't be disappointed, but if you want a casual game and don't know much, do not buy this - rent it. The players play exactly like they do in real life, the teams are just as tactical as they are in real life, and the commentators know this and have many sayings. The online is extremely fun especially the 11 v 11. I think it's amazing that 22 people can play at the same time. The regular online is just as immersive and very impressive. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the game even if you do not have an online connection.

I don't know why some people are giving this game a bad review. It is ten times better than 09 mostly because it makes the game actually like soccer - hard to score. In 09 you could just sprint through and score easily but in this it's much more tactical and the players are much more like themselves in real life. The downside is the learning curve on the controls. There are a ton of things you can make your player do, even celebrate, but the hardest part is mastering the moves. This game is extremely fun and well worth the money. The teams formations and players are as they should be, the game is much more tactical, and the online has a lot of features and game modes. Definitely go ahead and get this game if you know anything about soccer.
