I wasn't very impressed with the game. It gets boring after a certain period of time. Some of the specials were pretty cool, but that's about it. Sometimes, the only way I would keep the game would be to have clashes with my brother. I would do Rasengan and he would do Chidori. Master Mode was a waste. It didn't even follow what happens in the comics or the show itself. There should have been more characters to play with. What made me mad the most was that they didn't even have Sasuke (the Shippuden version). He was in the videos but was not playable. What's the point of even having him? Master mode was also dumb because once you finish a certain level, you become stuck with nothing to do. Playable characters should also have had more special moves. Some were good, but not that great.

Don't get me wrong i'm a huge fan of Naruto and Bleach, but this game made me want to shoot myself in the foot it was so bad. The characters were good but they should have waited for the anime to be released in the US. I've watched the Japanese anime of Shippuden but seriously I found it the same as the other Ultimate Ninja Series except worse, as for the special moves...they really weren't impressive at all, Sasuke's Falcon Drop from Ultimate Ninja 3 was ten times better than all the special moves on Shippuden. I would recommend Ninja Storm or Rise of a Ninja or the Broken Bond or Ultimate Ninja 3 or Clash of Ninja Revolution Shippuden when it comes out later this year. Don't waste your money on this game only if you are a hardcore fan and want to complete your UN collection.
This game is incredible!! Definitely the best in the series yet! Only 2 things I'm slightly disappointed in are that you don't even finish the Gaara Rescue Arc, and you can't play as TS Sauske! But anyway, This game is great! I'm a die-hard fan of Naruto so this game is like heroine to me! The roster is like a dream come true, 52 characters in all! TS Naruto, the Yellow Flash, Kakashi, Itachi, Kisame and Gaara are my favorites! There is also an awesome new original story called the Black Shadow, that takes place during Naruto's training with Jiraiya. Overall the best Naruto game yet! Hopefully Ultimate Ninja 5 will include more Akatsuki characters. those guys rock!! I heard it will come out some time this fall. Anyway, Great game. Fans will love it.

I got this game right after It was relesed and I beat the main sanerio in about 9 hours the roster was kinda disapounting thay did not have older vertions of kiba,shino,henata,or sasuke.but even though the main sanerio was so short it was refreshing to play a new vertion of the naruto storyline and playing as older naruto was awsome and after you beat hero mode you get the yallow flash.overall I give the game a 9.0 and thay are definitly going to make ether a naruto shippuden ultimate ninja 5 or a seris of naruto shippuden games and what makes this game evevn better is that its only for ps2 becose thay are only making new games for the 360 and ps2.any ways over all the game is pritey cool but I only recemend it for the real Die-hart fans of naruto but I wish the senerio was longer and that sasuke was in it but any ways it is a grate game
