In the world of Majesty, you are the ruler of the kingdom. At your service are your loyal and somewhat obnoxious subordinates, who have their own minds about how things should be done. In fact, Majesty is the only game where your heroes decide on their own what should be done and when, leaving you to try to control them through monetary incentives.

Not Exactly the best sequal I played....
Captain N "The Game Master"
Greetings, Lately, I had a chance to play this game and I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. The game keeps to its predessessor. However, the game lacks in may areas. For starters, I was attempting to play the first story in the scenarios but found it was too challenging for me to learn the game's engine. I found that the game's graphics (while slightly enhanced) still didn't wow me. I was also expecting more from the sound. In today's market, 5.1 is a good surround sound setting. This setting seems to be standard for games today. The interface was pretty familiar to me and is very similar to Majesty 1 if not exact. As for the storyline, nothing has changed. You still play the King of the land. The AI, needs a total redesign. The AI of your guards and so on need to be more assertive and follow your demands. Unfortunately, I think the AI is what makes the overall experience lacking. However, I am not totally one-sided. Overall the game is nice to have if you want to experience Majesty the way you remember from the good old days.

Great Sequel to a Great Game!
Nobody has ever heard of Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim, but it was a great RTS style game where you couldn't directly control your units( or heroes). On paper, this sounds like a disaster, but the game did it very well, and it is one of my most favorite games. Majesty 2 looks like solid sequel, and anybody who loves RTS games should try the bizarre play style of this game. I was thinking the online would be fun, but then I saw it is through gamespy, ew.

If its like the first...
it'll be one of the most fun strategy games you'll ever play. I still play Majesty on freestyle to this day. Hero units who act haphazardly and sometimes comically under their own free will. I've been waiting for this for a long time, here hoping the sequel could be a sleeper hit just like the first.
