The characters are well done as is the combat and the title improves upon the orignal's short comings such as storage (i.e. guns, armor) and also expands farther into the Reapers story and Cerberus. Overall Bioware has crafted an intriging and rich game that sci-fi fans should appreciate.

Good Game but false short to other games that came out around the same time like Gears Of War 2 and Borderlands.

This just builds onto the first game in every aspect. The story is much bigger, the characters grow and develop more. The controls are similar to the first one, but still easy to understand and learn for someone who hasn't played. Much more options and directions to take. Still have the little font, but still a brilliant game.
I actually started playing 3 before playing 1 & 2. I liked 3 so much I stopped playing it and went and bought 1 & 2 to get the story the way I wanted it. I love this game just a little more than 3. I think the story is great as well as the characters you befriend and meet along the way. I cant believe I have been gaming for so long and let this series slip under my radar. I am a Mass effect fan for life. This series is one of the best if not the best I have played! I dont give out many 10's but this one is well deserved. I cant say enough about how great this series is! Dont let the ending in 3 spoil this game for you. There are so many outcomes to these games that makes it worth it to play them over and over again. Mass Effect for life!
