I do not like Mass Effect 2 nearly as much as i like the first one. However, I'm not saying ME2 is bad, it's just not for me. I love rpg's, and ME2 is much less of an rpg than ME. For example, the different ammo types, armor, and hundreds of weapons have been reduced to 17 or so weapons in ME2. You cannot loot dead enemies in ME2, which is somewhat ridiculous if we're going to call it an RPG. You can't level up at any time, you have to wait until the end of a mission for a chunk of experience, and a mission summary, like a generic 1st person shooter. The cover system has been improved, but i still find the gameplay of ME to be more rewarding, possibly because i started on the 2nd highest difficulty in ME2. If you like shooters, youll most likely like this, and if youre more into RPG's youll probably be a little bit disappointed like me
So I write this review after playing all 3 Mass Effect games to complition. I can probably say that out of the 3, this is my favorite. Everything is improved in the 2nd outing of Comander Shepard and the crew of the Normandy. NO SPOILERS, but this is in every way better than the original. The only drawback is scanning planets for ores, which I hear was patched to be a whole lot faster. That is the only gripe I have with this game. Everthing else is near perfect or at least as perfect as you can be in this day and age. Combat is fluid and fast paced and you will never feel like you are clunking your way through. I would recommend all of the DLC for this just because they are good, but of the 3 "Lair of the Shadow Broker" is the best. My Boo is tracking down the shadow broker. Help her.Tons of Easter Eggs are at the end of it as well. So in short. Amazing game. Play it a lot. HAVE FUN!

if you like free roming and combat game this is best this game has longest gameplay you even get to decide to who to make friends or not this game has nice weapons and good roaming places
This game I got to say is one of the best games out their great graphics amazing story and a lot of freedom one of the all time greats recommend this one to anyone.
