ME2 is one of those games that can define a generation. this game can easily be one of the best games of the decade. it's got everything going for it, like, amazing graphics, great story line and characters while the game play is additive as can be and the music score is great. all these elements are extremely well integrated. ME2 is truely a master piece. there are some technical glitches here and there but nothing major that'll ruin the experience. if you like rpg and shooters, or into great story telling, ME2 is definitely a must play. hack, this is the only game that i played more than once and each play is different enough tokept me interested.
I really enjoyed the first installment.Right after my DA addiction cooled off. I played ME and was amazed with how good it was.Finally after playing a few other games,I got around to this one.I cant believe I didnt play this sooner! The normandy,and graphics overall were improved. I felt a greater sense of being the master of my own destiny in this installment.They did dumb down the combat system in this installment, but that did not take away from the enjoyment of the game.I havent finished my first playthrough yet, but I am sure I will take a second spin around the galaxy in the normandy before moving on.

Way better than ME1

I played ME1 and it wasn't anything like ME2. This game just came back 10 times stronger with great graphics and story, I just couldn't put the controller down can't wait for ME2. By the way you don't have to play ME1 but there's some characters from the ME1 that will appear in ME2.
Mass Effect 2 truly is revolutionary for its genre. It is a shooter with some RPG aspects in it, but has an amazing story. I have personally gone through about 4 playthroughs and I have enjoyed every single one. The universe of Mass Effect will engulf you and make you want more. The DLC add some great experiences into the mix, and what you do in them will more than likely affect Mass Effect 3. This is truly a must have for any console gamer, or any gamer for that matter. Buy it, you will not be disappointed!
