Mass Effect 2 is a blend of rpg, 3rd person shooter, and adventure. It blends so many elements and the story is fantastic. It is suited more towards casual gamers, the action and 3rd person shooter parts of the game over-power the rpg slightly. You have lots of dialogue and choices like the first game, but I found my self shooting alot more than anything else.Overall this game is very well-rounded, This is one of the best games I have ever played.
Mass Effect 2 runs circles compared to the first. The first 5 minutes of the game made my jaw drop in admiration of the graphics of the planet that the ship was near. This game is a breeze on the easy difficulty, but will require a true hardcore gamers touch to try on the two hardest difficulties. The game play is nice, I believe the updates fixed some combat glitches. I love shooting robots in the face and seeing them blow up next to their teamates. Sound fits very well with where you are and is never an issue. The storyline is probably the lowest part of the game, join this organization and take on the reapers. Only three or four real storyline mission with a ton of extras with unlockable characters. Overall, I'd say the game is great and I recomend it. Can't wait for the third.
