This game is great and it would still be worth it if it were 60 dollars. This game is fun and you can definetly replay a couple times due to the different scenrios. It is a third person shooter like Gears of War where you cover realistically and efficiently unlike Call of Duty and first person shooter or a typical third person shooter where you can only crouch behind something then uncrouch to try and shoot. you pop in and out of cover like a soldier. There is a variety of weapons with pistols, machine pistols, combar rifles, snipers and grenade launchers. For the role playing aspect they did a great job. You can choose what to say and you character says it unlike fallout where you pick what to say and they reply but you character really never talks. You can pursue relationships with people on you ship and there are plenty of side missions. Also you can do whatever you want so theres no direct line of missions. well thats the jist of it and if you care about storyline get the first mass effect and this will make a bit more since and youll appreciate this game more if you play the first one to enjoy the upgrades
Mass Effect 2 is clearly the best of the series so far, maybe until 3. The gameplay is very simple but hard to master as you have to handle not only your own soldier (Commander Shepard) but also your recruited teammates. You must be able to fully maximize the best of all your and your teammates' abilities. This proves to be challenging and fun at the same time as finding new technology and upgrades are worth your time. Your ability to survive will be determined by your commitment to yourself and your teammates. The way you interact with others will also determine whether or not you are a paragon hero or a renegade badass. This game proves to be a Game of the Year in any given year.

When I bought this game a couple days ago(3) and played about 20 hours to beat it, I was amazed. The Graphic are amazing and the gunfights are challenging, but yet awsome. The story is amazing, but I didn't like working for a <ERROR... Spoiler spotted> <DELETED> The characters are more attached to the story, in order to gain there trust you must go on missions to help them/Family.I would recomend this game to everyone.
