What am I shooting and wearing?

First off, I have to say this game is pretty cool. I liked the first one better thought. This game was too short compared to the first. It took me about 10 days of playing number 1 and number 2 lasted half that on the same hours of play. The other thing is the armor, weapons and skills... you had no clue what kind of damage you were doing or what kind of protection your armor was giving you. In the first game you got to see what you wear using and how it compared to other weapons. The heavy weapons are practically useless here and you run out of ammo and can't replenish them until you find a crate. EVEN if you return to the ship after a mission, your ammo for ALL weapons is the same count as it was on the last mission. How stupid is it that you can't replenish your ammo from YOUR armory on the ship??? The space travel is annoying as well. You run out of fuel or you have to keep refueling?? The premise is all about building your team and...they do you no good after you deal with their "Loyalty" stories. I played the entire game with Garrus and Jacob. I didn't need any of the other characters. They carried the same weapons and had the same skills as everyone else. The side stories or "Assignments" were corny too. "Find a Fish" and "Return the locket?" Despite all my complaints, it's still a fun game, just not as deep as the first
Personally, while I'm playing a video game I want to spend the majority of my time shooting things rather than watching characters talk. Well, Mass Effect 2 is definitely a game where you spend most of your time watching. At the beginning of the game, it is awesome. You can customise your character in any way you'd like, just like you can in the sims. But that is just about all of the fun you will get out of this game. It is okay for a little while making your character make "decisions," [although the "decisions" are made by you asking, "should I go there or there" and "what species are you?" in the order you decide] but get's old pretty fast. At the very limited points where you actually do get to walk around and shoot things, the game play controls are too shabby so you don't feel like you are walking correctly and you'r shooting is hard to aim. I like open worlds, this game has an open world. But yet, the world looks the same the whole way through that level, so you can't navigate through each level while knowing you are going the right direction. Do not buy this game, it is not as fun as every body says it is. There are better 3rd person shooters than this.
its a very good game if you enjoy rpg shooters.. i kind of hate how they dumbed it down so much compared to mass effect but what ever its still a dam good game. some of the bad reviews ive seen about it are from angry cod fanboys and their actualy kinda funny to read
