Monster hunter freedom unite is pretty sweet, i got this game when i bought my system. At first i didn't understand it and thought it wasen't all that great, but after a while i learned how to play it and it became my 2nd favorite psp game. First of all the challenge is very high, this game is impossible to beat if you dont have friends with it also, because some missions tell you to kill 4 monsters and you run out of supplies after the first one you kill. The character customiation is pretty cool, but you never get to see yourself because you have armor on so it's kinda pointless. The controls are really good, but the camera sucks. I usually have to play with my middle finger on the left shoulder, and my pointer finger moving the camera on the d-pad. The graphics are really good probably some of the best on psp. The length is also really good, because ive had this game for about a year now and im not even halfway done with it yet. There is no story line to this game, except I felt the goal in this game was to kill the dragon who pwns you in the begining, but i found out he was actually really easy. I would reccomend this game to anyone with a psp and friends with a psp. It is by far my 2nd favorite game (1st is fat princess).

Really Good Game!!!

the first monster hunter i played was freedom 2. It was a great game so i figured i'd give freedom unite a try. and was i BLOWN away! first things first, if you have a monster hunter freedom 2 saved profile, you can transfer that data over so you dont have to start a new game! but if you dont, you start a new game and have the worst of the weapons and armor so you have to work your way up the HR levels. but theres no greater feeling in monster hunter than slaying a monster, carving it, and then creating a weapon or armor piece that you really want. i love it! the graphics and gameplay are good for a psp game but they are not great. somtimes i'm fighting a monster and die do to turning my camera problems but it happens very rarley to me. there is no story line so its just pick a quest and do it. but there are certain quests that you do have to complete to get an urgent quest then your new HR level. i wish the creators would have told you the quests that you have to complete but you can go on google and find it so simple fix. this is also not a game you can complete in one day! this could take some of the best of the best players over a week to complete. and i am by no means one of them! im still trying to get to hr 8! this may also be one of the MOST CHALLENGING games i have ever played! like i said im still trying to beat the game. Well over all i feel this game is really good and if some of the glitchs and control problems are fixed this would be a great game!

"Monster Hunter Freedom Unite" is a really great game, the length is as long as can be, there is no storyline which I love storyline's. This game is a more of hunt,kill, quest acheived thing. The introduction is quite long. Really fun to play with others, but after awhile if you can't keep up with monsters and other quests it tends to get boring. I loved the game, but a few months into it I decided to quite playing it. If you have alot of spare time I would reccommend it otherwise you'll be wasting alot of time doing quests over and over and over. If your the type that likes creatures to slay, upgrades then go for it. The looks on your character changes as the armor and weaponry does also. The custimizing of character is fun but not as many choices. The selection of what armors and weapon + upgrades you can do is large so if you love doing quests over and over with friends go for it
