The campaign is epic, but is kind of nonsensical and not really emotionally moving in any way. However, if you like big explosions, epic set pieces, and taking out hundreds of guys by yourself, it's great. Sadly, it's pretty short. You could beat it on regular difficulty in 5-6 hours. On the other hand, people tend to buy CoD games simply for the multiplayer. In this respect, it's fantastic. Great sense of progression and Spec Ops is also great. There aren't really any "imaginative" game modes such as Zombie mode, just your typical deathmatches and objective-based game modes. However, while I think the multiplayer's great, it's also where my biggest complaint lies. The game is incredibly unbalanced. UMP 45's w/ supressor are WAY too overpowered and killstreaks stack, so it's relatively easy to get a nuke, which is game-ending. Hit detection is awful at times. Snipers will be disappointed that just about every other hit you get WON'T be a one-shot kill, even if it's in the chest. Noob tubes are also incredibly overpowered since unlike in Black Ops, which is MUCH more balanced, there is no perk to protect you from explosives, but there is, of course, a perk to make explosives MORE powerful. Graphics are fantastic, very crisp visuals. Sound is decent, though not as good as BFBC 2. If you can get past the huge imbalances in multiplayer, you will find this to be a great game.

i gave it away but im gettin it again. it is totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is my 24/7 game but i still play more games than 1 but this is my favorite of all!

This game has alright gameplay, but the guns... They are like guns firing nukes! The grenade launcher, why did you make it the first attachment to unlock on a gun? What were you thinking? Overall I here only explosions and the maps such as highrise. Who thought of the spawning positions? Rust is my biggest problem, its full of noob tubers, shotguns and camping! Worst map ever created. Also, the nuke. Are you serious on putting it as a 25 kills killstreak reward? put it 40 at least!
