First of all just let me get this out of the way: I'm not a fanboy of any gaming console, any gaming series.
This is a good game overall because it has a pretty engaging campaign, offline multiplayer, and split-screen versus. It has everything a First-Person-Shooter (FPS) should have. There are a few concerns I need to address about this game. As you play the campaign you will realise that you get shot from a lot of different places and sometimes it takes you a while to see where you are getting shot. You will die A LOT. I understand I'm not the best call of duty player around, but it's just my impression of the game.
Also, if you sometimes get a little dizzy AT ALL with FPS's games, this one beats everything. Unless you are very used to FPS games and you can play for long hours without feeling the least bit dizzy, YOU WILL GET DIZZY ALOT OF THE TIME. You will find that you can only play for about half an hour or so before taking breaks. Also, I don't like the fact that when you get shot at, your screen starts moving in different directions a little bit, as if to simulate your character in pain and agonizing. This just makes you kinda dizzy even more. I had to return this game, it just wasn't for me. I recognize that it's a great game, but I seriously could not get through the campaign because it was too much for me too handle. I went for "resistance" because hardcore shooters like this get me dizzy.
Other than that, this game is alot of fun and like I said, it has offline split-screen and also Co-op which is a very important feature that the "Call of Duty" series has maintained as a priority.
cod4 modern warfare is way better in graphics and sound plus gameplay and last but not least their are no campers and black ops is also way better

I play MW2 everyday. The campaign is awesome. The multiplayer is epic. Infinity times better than B.O. Special Operations couldn't get any better. I truly recommend this game to anybody.
