Man when I first heard that this game was coming out I nearly exploded. No I quite literally nearly exploded. I was so excited it was insane. Then I started playing the game. I started off by doing the campaign. The gameplay was fun and the controls were smooth but only one thing was missing. Guess what it is. How about a PLOT LINE! Man their was nothing going on in this game. But at least it was fun. Next I tried the multiplayer. Although the custom classes were cool and all but the maps were dull and almost everyone was a hacker, which made it both boring and unfair. I can't begin to tell you how many times I got killed by a noob using some sort of mod or hack. So overall I would not say that this game is perticularly good or fun to play.
Modern Warfare 2 is a game with many problems. First of all the campaign is ok and takes place a few years after Call of duty 4. But it is very short only about 4 hours. And the ending without spoling it was very open. And gameplay of it could get kind of boaring. But i was glad to continue the story of the first modern warfare and i was glad to see the charecters again. Second the multiplyer. The multiplyer for mw2 when it first came out was ok. But now its unplayable. Its filled with modding which could be a pain, hacks, noobtubing, and just plain annoying things. And multiplayer was never really good to start with. And third spec ops. Spec ops is basically a reamke of some levels from the game that you can playthrough with friends. But it will not keep you entertained. But it is fun for playingthrough to get tropies/achivements. Now dont get me wrong i still like mw2 even know its very unbalanced. I really dont play it anymore. And it is really overated. I dont see how this game could get such good reviews and Black Ops which is an amazing game and the best call of duty got underated reviews. I still recamend picking mw2 up and playing through it. All in all i give it an 8 out of 10.
