Ok so i love all the jak and daxter games. I've played and loved every last one of them. Until now that is. Let me first start by saying how terrible the graphics are. I'm guessing this was made for the PSP and ported to the PS2 because the graphics are beyond bad. I've played this game for a couple hours and i have no desire to ever play it again. The camera angles are painful and have caused me to die several times in just the first few missions. Often times you can't even see your objective or platform that you need to jump too. and *spoiler alter* daxter gets turned into a huge monster then turns back into his normal form and no one notices or says anything. such a bad plot. the controls felt awkward and often times distracting. Do not buy this for PS2. I wouldn't even recommend it for the PSP.

The game was simply awful it took away the artistic style that was kept true during the rest of the saga. As well they the took the away the simple ability to swim. That was all fine but then there was no vulgarity and all our guns. All of this was just much all in all it was a horrible game.

Not what I expected

When I saw this game at Gamestop I immediately thought of great another Jak & Daxter game. Then,I saw that High Impact Games made it. So I expected it too be a little rough. I was right. The controls were good just as usual although i was a little disappointed they got rid of the slide dive thing, past that the controls were good. The new eco abilities were great and well thought out. I wish they had found a way to bring back in Dark and Light Jak but thats it. Now for the bad things. The weapons felt like a step backwards. There were only 4 mods and their upgrades were barely noticeable. I ended up begging for my eco gun for Jak 3 back.The staff didn't even play a big role. You couldn't even fight with it without mods. Dark Daxter was horrible and really could have been better or maybe even erased period. The camera angles felt like it was something out of a PSP game. The story was horribly cliche and predictable(just like the rest of them)There was also absolutely no intro to the series for people who had never played in the series. If you loved the Jak & Daxter games before well then play this game. But, if you have never played Jak & Daxter before get the first trilogy first THEN play this game so you don't feel like your 3 and your teacher just explained trigonometry.
