This co-operative action horror FPS takes you and your friends through the cities, swamps and cemeteries of the Deep South, from Savannah to New Orleans across five expansive campaigns.You'll play as one of four new survivors armed with a wide and devastating array of classic and upgraded weapons. In addition to firearms, you'll also get a chance to take out some aggression on infected with a variety of carnage-creating melee weapons, from chainsaws to axes and even the deadly frying pan.You'll be putting these weapons to the test against (or playing as in Versus) three horrific and formidable new Special Infected. You'll also encounter five new "uncommon" common infected, including the terrifying Mudmen.Helping to take L4D's frantic, action-packed gameplay to the next level is AI Director 2.0. This improved Director has the ability to procedurally change the weather you'll fight through and the pathways you'll take, in addition to tailoring the enemy population, effects, and sounds to match your performance. L4D2 promises a satisfying and uniquely challenging experience every time the game is played, custom-fitted to your style of play.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This game came out in like 2007 or 2008 so don't expect killer graphics.The pros to this game is it is super fun and addicting to play and it is and always will be a classic zombie-killing game.The cons are It has a storyline but it's not as detailed as i thought it would be,it could've used a couple of cutscenes and story unlocks.Also,personally it could've had level-up levels for online gaming,like borderlands or halo or even gears of war.Other than that,the talking and sound effects are good.The different modes are pretty awesome too.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
this game is totally sweet. it has a dash of a little humorous dialogue and it is a fun game to play. it is not that scary to me so its not perfect for a horror game fan but it has zombies. the levels are epic and the gameplay is excellent with tons of weapons to rid of zombies. to me Ellis is the funniest character in the game.

Great game the sound is great i can hear LIKE ANYTHING smoker hunter all the zomebies so the sound is loud. now graphics are pretty good too nothing to say about that.The game itself is good its well built.This game for me lasts along time its fun you can be zombies do campaigns and many more.This game is great for people who like to play shooting and zombie games.

for every review i write i recommend this game, it is valve at its best and i always play versus mode. ellis, coach, nick, and rochellebattle through malls, carnivals, swamps and more trying to survive a zombie apocolypse. there are various games modes including my favorite versus which allows u 2 be a special infected. i loved this game!!!!!!!

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
I got this game from a friend cause he was tired of it. That has been the single best moment in my gaming life. I love zombie shooters and this is one of the best I've ever seen. Sure there are some major glitches, but none that effect gameplay. This is a game in a class of it's own. My GT is dukattiboi.

L4D2 is fantastic. The campaigns are fun and the dlc is ok, but coop is where the game shines. Ive spent hours playing versus and campaign with my friends and anyone with a love for fun coop should get this game
