This game is fairly good but could be better. Don not buy this game if you are looking for excitment.

First off I am a pretty big star wars fan I have played the many battlefront games for ps2 and psp. You know that buzz that went around when battlefront RS came out, well that died with this game. This in fact an exact replica of Renegade Squadron, just with even worse levels that let you "fly" into space ( which is just an annoying loading screen with a prescripted cutscene) The game has an actual story for once that fails (though i give them credit for trying). This game has some poor level design. You go from ground to space and most space maps are the same. The controls are still pretty bad. They got rid of the cool tatooine map from renegade squadron and made it just an open map. The online is okay though if you have nobody to play with like me then there's nothing really to do because battlefront is a team game which still doesn't have mic support. The Ad Hoc multiplayer went from 8 players down to six which is stupid, that will force you to play campaign since they have the biggest battles. The only good parts that I liked in the game were the descent graphics, nice skyboxes, and improved gunplay. Overall i'm quite disappointed with this game the only thing new is ground to space gameplay. I hope they really impress me with the next game because my faith in star wars psp game is thinning out.

this game is the best game i have had so far for the psp. I recomend this game for people who like action and are huge star wars fans! You should try the game before you say no.

Ok I spent 30 dollars on this game thinking that this game would be a braek through in Star Wars. I was completly wrong. First the campaign was dumb it made no sense if you were a Star Wars fan. The clases were off plus they could have made the game have more fredom aswel. Instent action was probably the worst option in the game. Since you could only choose one map for the whole round and had to be the same faction. The Space battles didn't affect the ground battle that much and even if it did whatever happend could be finished easily. The PSP version is probably better and if they make more battlefront games they should make it the same.
