Great Game

This game was great! I was not dissapointed by it. The story line is short but great. It lets you relive the Star wars saga in a different point of view. I was a litle dissapointed at the part at where they took out many of the stages I loved. Such as geonosis, naboo and more. There are many new heroes that were added. And many new weapons. The graphics are 100%! The sound is also great. Some people say that the controls were wack but the cotrols were much better than the controls on renegade squadron. The bad part is that you have to unlock and beat acheivments for new weapons and personalization parts. As I said the story line is great. But I wish it was a little longer. There are many new features such as going on a escape pod. Manning ion cannons to destroy the enemy ships sheilds. The game was great. I just wish There was elite squadron2. I would recommend this game.

I got this game for christmas and i was very excited. I played instant action and multiplay for the first 2 days. Once i got to the story, i was dissapointed. It had a good storyline but it was too short. It took me all of three hours to beat. On normal difficulty. I was surprised by the graphics. The space graphics especially. They were smooth and fluid. The sound was good but annoying at times. In instant action your leader (or commander or whatever...) tell you to do something every 10 seconds with a subtitle. And you cant change it. You can only turn off the subtitles. The controls were good but since you cant look up without locking onto an enemy is at times frusturating. The customization is also worthy of talking about. I was surprised by the freedom of it. All in all, this is a good game.

This is a pretty good game. I dont really like it. First of all, The game is really short. I beat it the first day I got it. Second of all, they took out some pretty good maps from renagade squadron. I liked that you can go from land to space to your capital ship. The controls were really bad. They're hard to get used to. I liked how they added the death star to the game. I sort of liked how the game docks your ship for you. I kind of wastes time. The customization is pretty bad. You cant customize ur full color. I hate how you have to unlock the good weapons. I like heros and villans mode when its only heros and villans fighting. The sound is pretty good. I like how when you shoot your teammate thay say something such as watch your fire. Overall, The game is ok.

I recently bought this game, and let me say that i'm a little skeptical. However, this is still a great addition to the Battlefront series. I've played SWBF2 and Renegade Squadron, and I enjoyed them both very much. First things first, the good things about the game: The Graphics are pretty good I thought they were better than the last PSP battlefront game. One of my favorite maps from SWBF2, The Death Star was added, along with a few other maps I enjoyed.I now had the choice to pick classes, something I couldn't do in renegade, and I could also make my own unique class as well. The battles were more in depth, space and ground were now linked into one game, so now if I felt like fighting in space, I just hop in a starfighter and take off :). A new mode called: Heros and Villains was added, this was just a renamed copy of "Hero Assault" from SWBF2. Now for the bad, yes I do have issues with this game, and I think that people are giving the game a little to much praise. First off, the thing that bothered me the most was the fact that I had to unlock weapons that I was used to using in Renegade Squadron. I'm talking way to limited, to the point where if I wanted something that gave me bit of an advantage, I couldn't have it. What's up with that? I think that making players unlock cool weapons that I could get without trouble in Renegade was pretty stupid. So now if I want to customise my character, I can't get anything past a shotgun. It's the same thing with personalisation, so much for making your guy look unique! You don't have alot of choices in terms of color or appearance, so for most of you who played Renegade squadron, you probably won't be able to get your guy to look as cool as it did for a long time. Unless you unlock some more stuff, which as far as I know you can only do by completing achievments. Alot of maps were taken out from the previous game, and that was a big dissapointment for me because instead of adding a bunch of new ones, they just added like 4 - 5 new maps, which are great but that doesn't make up for the maps that were taken out, such as: Sullust, Geonosis, Ord Mantell, and several others. I also found the controls a bit awkward, maybe it's just because I'm so used to the previous game that they seem too different, but maybe it's not just me. For example: When I try to lock on an enemy, sometimes it would lock onto something else, an enemy that wasn't in front of me, so I have to cycle through the targets till I find the one I want to kick the crap out of. another thing that I disliked, was the jetpack. This may sound kinda picky, in fact, this whole review has been picky.... HAHA but this was something that practically every player used as his special item. It went alot slower than the one in Renegade and it took me forever to get anywhere with it. To be honest, this is all I can say about the game, and I know some of you think that this review is bashing this game... Well in truth, it kind of is... Haha! But if this is your first Star wars Battlefront game, then you will probably like it alot, but I seriously recommend buying: Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron before you buy this. Overall this is a pretty good game, I just think it could have been alot better. This is truly the first Battlefront game I found any kind of fault with.
