Good game but controls are terrible

It's a fun game to play but controls are terrible. The player that you control seems to glide all over the place. The post up controls aren't that good. When passing the ball to player on your team, the controls don't react well to the direction your passing the ball. Sometimes the ball goes to a totally different person. When your driving down the lane and decide to pull back out, somehow you continue to get pulled in, which causes you to get the ball stolen or you get called for a charge. This is an excellent game, but the controls suck. If they would have added 2k9's controls to 2k10, it would have been no problem at all with this game. I also feel some players ratings should be adjusted a little because I've seen people shoot a three point shot with Shaq and D-Howard.

A great game, but could use some touch-ups.

My headline says it. This overall is a great game, but it needs a few touch-ups. First of all, the graphics are amazing. 2KSports did an awesome job of creating not only the star players faces with brilliant detail, but every player in the league. This is better than NBA Live 2010 by far. The glitches though, were annoying, but not unbearable. For example, sometimes, just to "help you out" the computer will move your player automatically, even when you dont want your player to move. Another problem I saw frequently was in the low-post. An offensive player that tries to spin around a defender with his back to the basket cannot seem to take a clean shot. The player looks as if they can get a good shot off, but for some reason, they do a pump fake that gives the defender a lot of time to react and alter the shot. With me, because I like to play the game in the paint, I got very upset with this aspect of the game. But, the rest of this game is wonderful. There are so many game types to play: Quick-games, seasons, the association, practice, situations, playoffs, 21, street, 3-pt shootouts, and even dunk contests. This is the best complete NBA game to date. Not to mention the new My Player mode. This is a great addition. It can get frustrating in the beginning because you start out as a low overall rating, but it gets really fun once you are drafted.

I was really a fan of this product til I start having major clitches with it.. Example .. during the game it would freeze or skip attacking the basket (or when I'm shooting)...I thought maybe it was my Xbox360. But it wasnt.. My others game work just fine... even online it would to the same.. not sure if everybody had this problem..what sucks more I was in the playoffs with my team lol... I was looking for ways to fix the problem or something, but to my avail couldnt find nothing on it..Come to find out I wasnt the only one with this problem.My biggest mistake was buying it twice...Sorry 2K10 U lost a fan...If someone would told me 2k10 would've dropped the ball on great game I wouldnt believe it.. but oh well....Maybe the next will be better without the glithches

I just purchased the game after my first time playing i was amazed by the way they bring the legonds back on the older teams the the 80's all star teams are great making a team is truly fun. I feel the game is better than NBA LIVE 10 (i have both). The online is said to be fun i honestly havent tried it. I have to say any game that brings larry bird and magic johnson back is incredible. Its very fun to have larry bird whip some sense into lebron when they match up on each other the controls arent as good as i wish i love the ea sports controls thats a fix for the future. The graphics are ten times NBA live's. Next year im definatley going to buy this over ea's!!!!!!!!! the defense does suck but the offense and graphics make up for it the challenge could definatley use improvement but thats what online is for.
