People say that this game is hard, but, I'm telling you, it isn't. Sure you might get put in the D-League when you are on the My Player mode but that's just part of the game and it is what makes it fun and what makes you want to play it more. The reason other games don't have their lasting appeal is because they get too easy. This game isn't too hard or too easy. It'll provide you with countless hours of fun. Don't buy 2K11 or 2k12 unless you want to get the rookies of '11 and '12. If you need to trade then the game has Living Rosters. Because of 2K11 and 2K12 came out, they stopped updating the rosters and making official roster updates. But, you can still trade players by yourself or you can use 2K Share, which has different rosters and teams created by other gamers worldwide. This way you don't have to do any work and you get updated rosters. Also, some gamers create NCAA teams and upload them for others to download.

Overall this is one of my favorite basketball games. The my player mode is awesome. I have played countless hours on this game and it hasn't bored me once!

If my cousin hadn't broken the game when he borrowed it, I would still be playing it, probably now as I'm writing this review. Hehe. It was the best game of it's time when it came out and now 2K11 and 12 have beaten it. The game is amazing in every way possible. A couple of occasional freeze ups and glitches but that's normal with every game. GET THIS IF YOU LOVE BASKETBALL AND STATS AND STUFF, or if you just want to play some hoops when you can't hoop outside yourself. ENJOY (:
