I have owned my Turtle Beach X11's for about 3 months now. I have used them with both my Xbox and my PC. They are really good. The mic is great, I can hear things perfectly. They seem to be decently sturdy. They can take normal wear and tear, but I wouldn't want to put them under any more stress than necessary.
Others have complained about a little bit of hiss. This is going to occur, but there is a slight workaround. The hiss comes from the amplifier on the cord. If you boost your output from your TV or computer and reduce the output from the amplifier, you can minimize hiss. It sounds amazing.
Besides the little bit of minor hiss, this is a good headset. I have used mine on XBL and on Steam with no issues. I like that it can plug into the mic in on a computer, because it requires no drivers. It is plug-in and play. It isn't hard to set up at all, it just requires that you read through the owner's manual once.

i have been using this headset for almost a year it never broked they work great and it also works on ps3 but u can"t talk on it there relly good and awesome its easy to hook it up it also works for watching tv do yourself a favor and pick it up

the x 11 are good in sound but are the worst beaches . the cord is way to long , i fight with it everyday .and it gets tangled up to easy . then if you start to untangle the cord the beaches will break on you one day like they did me

Sounds like you were jerking the cables hard trying to untangle them the wrong way. Try a lighter touch next time. I've had mine for 7 months and I dont have to fight with it because I roll it up the right way.

Biggest waste of money

I have been saving up for this headset for weeks, and it turns out its a huge waste of money. I plugged it in and heard a annoying buzzing noise, but thats just the beginning. Then, I turned off my xbox, unplugged everything and plugged it back in, hoping to fix the buzz, and when I turn my xbox back on, neither of my USB ports work, and I now have to get a new wireless controller. I totallyregret buying this product.

If you use a wired controler or have a rechargable controler being charged as you use this head set it will make a buzzing noise that sounds almost like a bug sapper. If this does not help it then you must have got a bugged head set mine works just fine after about a year aside from that buzzing while charging.
