dont buy this kind of turtle beach headsets! pay another 50 bucks and get the cord less the cords will make u want to smash this headset and want to burn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's no excuse for the design flaw regarding the hissing with this brand's head sets for those whom care for the quality of anything they listen to with them.

You are basing your preference of how you listen to these, you could have your mic all the way up and the game HALF way up and hardly hear the hissing. Its not that big of an issue if u really wanna use these for the surround sound.

This headset is amazing. im able to watch tv in high def sound talk to firends, shoot that guy sneeking up behind me and be comfortable all at the same time! This head set is pretty strong so you won't need to replace it like those cheap ones microsoft makes.

The Turtle Beach X11 is a good headset, with a few turn offs. First of all, the sound quality is excellent. I definitely heard an improvement. One of the first turn offs is the super long cable. It tangles easily and it is very cumbersome. Another turn off is that the mic cover comes off very easily. Other than those two flaws, this headset is a great bang for the buck.
