When I bought it I wanted to hear the game without waking people up at night. sadly the game volume does not work I had a friend who owns some hook them up to see if it was user error but it still didn't work.
A good thing is the feature where you can hear yourself is great I didn't think it sounded good before I bought it but it was actually pretty cool.

this headset is really good. You can hear people across the map basically and the headset is pretty comforatable if you dont play too much. its pretty affordable because of the price drop and if you get the wired version, in my opinion its better because the chords dont get in the way too much and its just overall a great headset.

A really nice headset compared to my $33 Walmart Logitechs I have had. Extremely comfy, and easy to hook up (PC that is-don't use Console)...
Only thing I would recommend is buying them off amazon for $20 cheaper than gamestop-even with 2 Day Shipping!

I loved this headset. I bought them after the original Xbox 360 wireless headset that I had broke. They lasted me quite a long time (Roughly 12-14 months), and after you put them on, you will wonder how you were able to play WITHOUT a gaming headset. The sound is perfect and clear, and the microphone never has issues. The only thing I felt was a problem, was the wires. Coming from using a wireless headset, it was a bit overwhelming, but it was fine after a while.
If you take care of them, they will last a long time. I now use X31's which are the wireless version. Those are the only ones I will really suggest buying over these, mainly because of the wireless ability. They are 100 dollars and work as well as these.
