The headset itself is not a bad design and is prices well but the sound quality compared to most other headsets is trashy and obsolite... if you are just playing to have fun then buy these.... like myself, a pro gamer, i would get the new PX5 Turtle Beach which reasently came out and are better than the Astro A40

I don't understand the people that say the cord is annoying or not enough features..?? This headset is awesome, $60 and you get a professional quality headset. The sound is outstanding, the different volume settings for in game and chat is outstanding, the flexability of the mouth piece is outstanding, comfort of the headset itself is outstanding and again the price is unbelievable. If you go out and spend money on all these $150 + headsets your probably wasting your money because you get the same quality and sound with this one. Buy this, it is worth every penny and last for years, as long as your kids and a dog doesn't get ahold of them. Which is why I just spent the money to buy another.

I have had the headset for 5 months now. have not had any trouble with them. i can hear people sneaking up on me on black ops search and destroy,team deathmatch ,hardcore TDM ,demolition. can hear things other headsets wont be able to hear. good price and quality .if i would recommend any headset it would be these turtlebeach X11's over anyother turtlebeach headset
