Okay there is alot of good things about this game, but it has its downside too. I would be rather playing this game right now but it freezes at the home screen everytime soooooo yeah. But this games very good for just casual NBA fans. I am in to basketball ALOT. So this game doesn't live up to the hype for me. It's way to easy to score in it. Like every time your going to the hoop (even on the hardest difficulty) you can just swerve around your guy and get a monster dunk. Sometimes Rajon Rondo can make 3 pointer on Yao Ming (which is ridiculously unrealistic.). The My Player mode is way to hard. If you call for a pass once, your guy keeps calling a pass when you don't even ask him to and then you get an F for a grade. And you start out as a 40 overall, which means you cant even make a layup with nobody guarding you. It's just ridiculous. But theres also upsides about this game. The Association mode is wicked fun. I have been working on mine since it came out waiting for christmas so I can get NBA 2K11, and I built my team from about an 80 overall, to a 97 overall. I have Chris Paul, SHAQ, Luke Babbit, Dwayne Wade, and Ron Artest. And thats all without cheating. This would be the best game on planet earth if the dunking wasn't so easy and other stuff. So thats just my quick review of this awesome game. So if your into NBA games and your waiting to get NBA 2K11 for christmas and dont have 2k10 definitely go out and purchase this game right now!

I bought the Collectors Edition the day it came out. the gameplay is good. it is harder to drive to the hoop on this one that 2k9. i think the commentary is the best its ever been on any sports game it actually sounds like a real game. if you use the 2k camera angle sometimes the game will slow down but theres a bunch of other camera angles you can pick from. I don't really care for the way the menu is set up sometimes it can get frustrating. but but its manageable. the my player, i think, is the best feature on the game. i never really cared for the superstar in madden but this is the best game to control only yourself. bottom line, if you want a basketball game i would definitely recommend this over nba live 10. 2k10 looks better plays better.
