Rage
RAGE is a groundbreaking first-person shooter set in the not-too-distant future after the asteroid Apophis impacts Earth. In an effort to save civilization, "Arks" are constructed and buried deep underground. These cryogenic lifeboats carry humanity's future, preserved with the tools they need to rebuild. this game was not to hard but not easy eather. thers lots of wepons like shotgun rocket loncher and wingstick which is a boomarang that chops peoples head off.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
This game is one of my favorites. The gameplay is wicked. The different weapons and ammo types make the game tons of fun. There is quite a lot of things to do and the environments are superb. The driving is different for Bethesda, but came out alright. The difficulty was a little disappointing. I played it on the nightmare (hardest) difficulty and had no trouble beating it. The main characters are dull and stereotypical but can easily be tolerated. The story is a whole different thing. It is the main topic in most reviews and the is the biggest con of the game. It is brief and the ending is never resolved (as if Bethesda is leaving the door open for a sequel). If there is a second game it probably will make the ending of this game more acceptable. Its a thoroughly made game (lots of easter eggs) and beside the story it can be considered to be great. I loved it and if you decide to buy or rent it I hope you enjoy too.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
id has outdone themselves again, Rage has "Fantastic" graphics that will amaze you. Just the detail put into the characters, and scenery is amazing, I would go on longer about the graphics but you need to see for yourself.The story was great ,as well,but most people said it was short and they would be right but just the campaign will make you keep playing until you get to the end.The racing , mini games, and side quests, will keep you occupied. This is a must buy.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
I picked up this game in march, because it was at an outRAGEously low price! I just started a few days ago to actually play it. I had such fun time going through and beating the game. To get to the point, this game is so fun and highly recommend this game. It should kill some time until Black Ops 2 comes out!

Think Doom, Fallout, Quake & The Elder Scrolls all got together & had a baby... The baby would be RAGE! So far this game is pretty epic! I was surprised at how great the graphics were. I was concerned because so many people were comparing it to Borderlands which has the stupidest graphics ever! However I see how it relates & it relates in the Gun Play. Gun battles seem to be lacking a bit, other than that, it's a pretty good game.

I picked this up for under 17 bucks with my powerup card. Awesome game. Lasted awhile for a working gamer like me. I would recommend this to any teen age ranged player, or any player that was a fan of borderlands.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
Rage is the newest first-person shooter from ID, and is an excellent one at that...but it fails to truly add anything revolutionary to the genre beyond the implementation of vehicle combat. The post-apocalyptic setting is a bit played-out these days, but everything looks amazing and runs at a good clip (save for some slow texture draw-in on the PS3 version). The controls are spot-on and most of the weapons have two or more types of ammunition to keep things interesting--plus the craftable items are a fun element. The voice acting and sound effects are about the best you could ask for as well. So why not a perfect score? The problem is all of this has been done before by other open-world, dystopian shooters like Fallout and Borderlands. I'm also not too fond of the long load times between areas. And while the environments are beautiful, they interact poorly with the player; there's a lot of boxes and junk sitting around...but they don't explode or take damage when shot at. However, Rage is still a superb game--and a lengthy one as long as you opt to complete all of the available races and side quests. As is expected from ID, Rage's vague story and lack of cinematics leaves something to be desired...so don't expect a narrative on the same level as say, Mass Effect. If you enjoyed ID's other FPS games from the past, you'll definitely love Rage. If not, you may want to pass this one up.

This game is so cool, the guns are really cool story mode is so intense once you go to the mission dead city youd be so relieved u passed and made out alive from dead city. This game is really bloody and intense I would recommend it if u like bloody intense shooting action games. Can't wait for rage 2 , if they make it

Awesome but short

Overall Rage was a awesome shooter and I very much enjoyed the single player experience. The only thing that hurts this game is it is over too quick and the lack of a decent multiplayer experience. The single player could have easily been twice as long and they needed a quake style multiplayer. The additions of these 2 things would of turned this game into one of the best shooter of the year.
