I LOVE my Go. I take it everywhere i go and use it every day, which is much more than i used my psp 2000. before i got the go i had over 30 umds and was extreamly hesitant to buy this, but i'm glad i did.

The graphics and sound quality on this device are great, but plan on spending twice as much on any game than you would with a regular psp. I enjoyed going to gamestop when I had my old psp and picking up a random used game, but with the go this is much more costly seeing as used is not an option, and the games cost more on the psn network then in most stores. Also, each game takes about an hour to download and install, so it is actually quicker to run to gamestop and buy a game on umd then to download one on this at home. Don't like the gamestop game? return it. Don't like the game you downloaded? Too bad. Very few demos are available. Has less additional features then my cell phone. I'm waiting now for gamestop to open so I can trade mine in. If you're sold on the psp, get the 3000. If you want something even better, wait until march for the 3ds

the pspgo is awesome! i got it for $150 and 3 free games at the powerup sale. the pspgo only downloads games from the psn store but at least you wont be constantly be losing your UMD games. i lost 8 games in the past 4 years. i would recommend this game system 2 anyone who travels a lot like me. it has a 16gb memory space! buying a used 16gb card Duo at gamestop for the psp 3000 can cost over $80! imagine how much it would cost to buy a new one i have downloaded 7 games on the past 12 days. BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it has 16 gigabyte memory so you don't have to buy a memory card. The PSPgo is only good if you have any way of getting wi-fi or you could just use the Media Go that came with the PSP, install it to the computer, then start downloading games( you will need to buy PSN cards) and other stuff like TV show, movies, etc. Its size is better size than that huge PSP. I can fit the PSPgo easily than the PSP 3000 or previous models. I can save and quit anytime when i want to watch a movie or listen to music when the PSP 3000 can't , you just have to save in the game then quit. The brightness levels are better, the loading times are way faster than the PSP 3000, and it slides. The analog stick in my opinion is the best place, it feels a little like having a mini version of the PlayStation controllers and it has blue-tooth that I can use for either quick calls or using the PS3 Dual Shock controller which has a better feel to playing your PSPgo. Almost everything about is better than the PSP 3000. It also comes with 3 free games, Socom FTB 3, Little Big Planet, and Ratchet and Clank which are all good games.
First off, the psp go is great. It fits is your pocket unlike the earlier psp's, and it is all downloads so you don't have to carry your games around with you. The problem with both of those things are that if you have big hands you get cramps when you hold the go for a long time, and not all games are up for download. I honestly can't recommend this to anyone, but it's not bad, just a little expensive for less. Ultimatly the decision is up to you- to buy or not to buy.
