great game if you like little cute animals and fighting then i recomend this game for you i prefer soulsilver way better then heart gold but if you already have heartgold then just keep it what i like about this game is that you can transfer your pokemon to your pokewalker but this game does not have that good of a chalenge so if you havent played platinum you are not a pokemon fan i would recomend this to ages 8 to 16 anybody in those age groups will love this game please if your going to buy the game i would prefer soulsilver you can cacth way better pokemon but otherwise this is an amazing game you should not buy the guide because you wont need it ya so you will probally beat this in a week. and i prefer this game if you havent played it pokemon platinum and pearl and diamond so enjoy

the best pokemon game

this game is so awesome its better than the old ones. i got the game on the day it came out and i beat it in 4 days. it was fun and a little harder than the old ones.lugia is so extremely cool on soul silver and ho oh is wickedly awesome. you can even catch mew2 in cerulean cave. the legendary dogs are trickier and improved. the only down side is the Global Trade Station wireless trading. the poke walker is cool too. i put my red gyarados in it and walked 3k steps and it went up 4 levels and got 7 gifts. raikou is the easiest one to find in soul silver. i found him 7 times in 5 hours. entei is a little harder. i found him 3 times in 4 hours. suicune is the hardest to find i haven't found it yet. u can even migrate pokemon from fire red, leaf green, ruby, sapphire, and emerald versions. and u can trade with diamond, pearl, and platinum for pokemon. overall i give this game a 9.5 out of 10 for length and GTS status. other than that its a extremely great pokemon game maybe the best one ever made. i think platinum has some competition now.

Great Game... But Easy.

Pokemon SoulSilver provides a great amount of story line and who's graphics definetly deserve an A+, but I think the challenge was just to easy. I beat the final trainer Red in about four or five days. I think the levels of the trainers' pokemon were pretty low. I used cyndaquil which is one of the best to us. I might try the game w/ Chikorita. After you beat the game you can still have fun with the pokeathlon and Global Trade Station/Wi Fi Plaza. Pokemon Soul Silver deserves a 9.8 because of its graphics, storyline and length, controls, and interface. Nintedo did a great job with this game and should keep the series going! I love the Pokewalker accessory. It really helped me train up my pokemon and get some excersise at the same time. Playing with freinds is really fun if they are about the same level as you. Rock on Pokemon!

Prepare for a heaping dose of Nostalgia!

As pokemon fans, many of the players who bought SS and HG were expecting alot, since it was a remake of the two best Pokemon games ever made, and personally, i, at least, wasn't disappointed. HeartGold and SoulSilver were just what i expected and more. These remakes are perfect for long-time fans and newcomers alike. Basically, you start off in a small town (Newbark Town) and recieve a pokemon, which allows you to travel the region, catching pokemon and battling trainers all over, with the main goal being to beat all the Gym Leaders and beat the Elite Four. It's the same IDEA as all the games, with a different story, as all pokemon games have. I love the fact that they've added the opportunity to catch many of the Legendary Pokemon: Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Rayquaza, Latios, Mewtwo, Zapdos, Moltres, Articuno, Entei, Groudon and Raikou are all available to capture in this game, which is a nice addition as in most of the pokemon games you could only catch very few Legends. The minor and, of course, the major tweaks make this game a must buy for Pokemon Fans, and even for the new generation who are ready to dive into pokemon. SoulSilver and HeartGold were WELL worth the money. Buy it, i guarantee you'll love it.
