Though i have SoulSilver I think this version is a little bit better because of the fact you can get Growlithe in this (who i love BTW). The one problem I have is How come Celadon City can Sell Fire Stones and the other stones in FireRed/LeafGreen but not in this game? Other than that I completely enjoyed the game and it wasn't hard to beat until you've fought Red. Oh lord, It took me like eight tries to do it and the last time I had to break out my Ho-Oh. Also I just love how this game looks and the fact you can have your pokemon follow you. And I love how your rival was able to push you back if you see him at Elm's lab like you were in Gold and Silver. Also I haven't watch the Pokemon Anime in 5 years, Or since Dawn came on, and I started watching it again when Lyra came on. It's not a long game but it's still a good length unless you do the Kanto region then it's long. Other than the slight problems i have i recomend this 10 out of 10

this brings the best times with gold and silver versions but there are a new ones like heart gold and soul silver theese game has the same story as gold and silver but the story was made alot better with new challenge's like the gym battle's then even trainer red he is alot tougher and so is the pokemon league in this game and even after you beat all the gym leaders in the game they come back with stronger pokemonlike there ten levels stronger and that makes it harder to win and the pokethelon was really hard to beat then there was the one trainer red with really strong pokemon like level 80 and up and the new team rocket leaders talk about hard and a little easy put together but then there is always the awesome batte frontier with awesome challenges.

Pokemon HeartGold brings us back to the best Pokemon games ever gold and silver witch take place in the Johto region. Comes with a free Pokewalker when you buy the game. You send a Pokemon in it and take steps and ever step you take gives one Exp. and can only go up by increase by one level. The game starts as the region's Prof. sends you on a errand and gives you a pokemon of your choice of Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile. After you finish the errand your rival steals the Pokemon you are weak against. After that Prof. Elm says to fight the 8 gym leaders and beat the elite four and become the champion. On the way you meat firends while you fight against the gang called team rocket. The game may be easy to beat since the champ as a level 50 becuase they made this so a kid can win. But after you beat the champ you think the game is over but its not you can go to the first region ever called kanto. fighting 8 more gyms and then being able to unlock a lot of other stuff to. With the bad contest taken out, replaced with a Pokethlon you play with the pen and enter contest. Also the pokemon get to follow you around not just your starter like in pokemon yellow but everone it makes the adventure a ton more fun. In all this has to be the best remakes that nintendo made and will be hard to beat here that 5th gen weres are elec/poison ant pokemon

This is definatley one of the best pokemon games Ive ever played. Also the pokewalker was a nice little toy. You can find some useful items there. All in all this game is great, the fact that your pokemon follows you around is awesome. plus you beat the kanto gyms and the johto gyms. this game is a perfect balance between hard and fun. It is a challenge but not to hard so its almost unbeatable. I would advise anyone and evryone to get this game, it is a great addition to the pokemon franchise. What is also a good idea for anyone who gets this game is you should trade pokemon from your diamond and pearl games to see what they look like following you around. After seeing this game I can only expect even more great things from the pokemon franchise. Awesome game!
