Well... I've heard many reviews, many good many bad. i want to get one but i really dont want to spend $330 (tax included) (250gb 360) for a new system that might still have faults and if i get one like this i have 2 worry if it will "explode" (RROD) on me . The reviews for the old xbox 360s are mixed i guess it just depends if u get lucky with the old systems. but i am leaning towards the new 250gb refurbished system to save 50-60 dollars. Thumbs up if i shuld get the new refurbished or thumbs down if i should the old refurbished.

I highly recommend you to get a new one. If you are concerned about price, get 4GB slim one and add HDD later since it comes with 1 year warranty. Of course, if you can buy extended warranty for refurbished one, that would be good as well, but then the price would be about the same as new one...

I got this a week ago and it works great sure there might be a slight chance you get a bad one but there's a chance like that for anything. I highly recommend this, my only problem is that it comes with one of the older mics that wont work with guitar hero and rockband guitars but then you can go out and buy a 20$ headset XD and so far ive had no problems with it. :)

The newer models have taken over. I have my Xbox 360 pro, sadly they were removed from the shelf. But that has nothing to do with the review. Ok so for starters, this system is alot like the ps3 so lets not start a flame war. Graphic wise its very smooth, great gameplay, next to nothing in lag. Its online features is what makes the Xbox what it is, and its great exclusive titles. PlayStation has good titles too, but I prefer the 360's. The controller is alot better then the playstations, with the playstation controller your thumbs are in an uncomfortable position. But the Xbox controller fits your hands better. Lets move to the cons. The xbox tends to over heat if you don't give it room to vent. My xbox has gotten the Red Ring of Death, but that was because a lightning strike was close by and shut out the power. My xbox has yet to fault after 5 years. So there is no real worry about it breaking down if you take good care of it. I give the system an over all 9/10

When I bought this UPS brought it to me in 2 days and when I got it I got a brand new controller and cords. yeah the xbox wasnt a pro but it doesnt matter its still an xbox and works great. live bothers me cuz you have to use a long ethrenet cable and that sucks and the wireless adapter is expensive but ive had my xbox for 2 months and it works great never had one problem with it at all so if you dont have an xbox buy this one now!!!
