Its a great product and for a great price. I got my xbox today for my birthday and it works great, it comes with a white disk tray instead of silver but it still works just the same. turned on good it didnt have any red rings. so who cares what other people say its good it really just depends on which one u get, if u think it looks good enough to buy then buy it.

Excellent Value: But Only By Itself

This is an excellent deal for a money conscious person who's late to the party. However, be mindful of what you do not get built-in on this XBox. First, there is no HDMI output. HD Video is output as Component. Many TV's will only accept up to 1080i on component inputs. I was fortunate that mine likes 1080p over component inputs just fine. Digital sound is by fiber-optic TOSlink cable. There is no wireless networking built in, that will be an additional purchase. I'm a network engineer and have a custom router is basically an Ethernet to wireless adapter for multiple items. This XBox only has 20GB of hard drive space. Purchasing a 250 GB hard drive for this model is comparable in price to the XBox Slim's 250 GB hard drive. Purchasing a Kinect separately will also contribute significantly to the price. Often, once you add up wireless adapter, hard drive, and kinect, you'll find you will only spend a small amount more for the new XBox 360 S bundle. If you have the right set up, though, you can dodge up to a third of the normal price of the comparable XBox 360 S bundle this route.

I got this all excited. I put in my friend's disc he let me borrow and it made very loud sounds and I took the disc out and it was all scratched. After 2 more scratched discs it worked, but it kept skipping and kept lagging. AWFUL
