Halo Reach
Because Halo is the best-selling Xbox franchise of all-time, the developers at Bungie had their work cut out for them when they were deciding what to do next with the series that has set the gaming standard for the last 10 years. Fortunately for us, they decided that the next step should be a prequel, and you'll experience the beginning of the Halo legend, when the heroic Spartan soldiers make their final stand on the planet Reach, humanity's last line of defense between the Covenant and Earth. We've all seen the carnage that one Spartan can produce. Imagine what a whole squadron of them can do. We all know how this one ends up, too. So the story has a fittingly darker, grittier edge to it as the brave Spartans go to meet their destiny. But you can make sure they go out in a blaze of glory in epic battles against the Covenant on a backdrop of jaw-dropping environments, powered by an all-new engine. And of course, the battles will continue long after the campaign is over on Xbox Live with a satisfying multiplayer experience. We'd expect nothing less from this one.

This game is perfect for: kid gamers
This game was great except ESRB made a mistake. This was my first rated M game, and it should have definetly been rated T, this is a little bit less violent then, James Bond: Goldeneye reloaded. But it is still a great game to play, great graphics, not the best campaign, but Forge is awesome you get to design your own levels. Matchmaking (XBXLIVE) is great too.

This game was all around phenomenal. The campaign mode was very engaging, and the story line was interesting, playing as the newest member of the group, Noble Six. Aside from the great story mode, the multiplayer and Forge mode are fun to play as well, and there are endless list of ideas for things to build on Forge. The graphics in all three of these modes, and all of the others that I didn't mention, is timeless. Even in 2013, they are still top-notch.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers
The night I brought this game home I was up playing it for hours. I actually traded halo 4 in for halo reach. I would strongly recommend this halo over any other. The gameplay is just amazing. I would give this game a 15 out of 10 if I could.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers
This is one of my favorite Halo games in a very long time. Bungie really went out with a bang with this one. The campaign is excellent with a variety of locations that held my interest. You play as Noble 6, a new recruit to Noble team and fight on the final days of reach leading up to Halo: Combat Evolved. As for firefight it is boring to play by yourself, but if you play over Xbox live or with a friend it can lead to hours of fun. The multiplayer is great, you can buy different armor, helmets, kneepads, etc. and wear them while playing online. I would suggest this game to anyone who likes first person shooters or has played any of the other Halo games.

This game review is for parents who think Halo is bad for kids. This game is perfect and it never gets old! The gameplay is very good but there might be a little lag at times. I like the design.. more than the other Halo game designs. The campaign is slightly hard sometimes but if it were easy it wouldn't be fun! There is no blowing up body parts unlike the Call of Duty series! You, of course, shoot some people though only on the team slayer matches and that stuff. There are violent weapons such as the sniper rifle and the hammer. You do get points for head shots on both species human and alien. The adults sometimes dont really get along on the headsets but all the times I have been on nobody cussed or anything. There are a couple of blood splatters on the floor whenever you are pummled or run over. There also can be some on the walls etc. Enemys scream in pain when you shoot etc them down. People sometimes have rages on the headsets but its funny sometimes :D. Some players might find it harder on the online mode; i found it hard at times. You can mute people who are talking on there you can do that on many games. if you compare the Halo violence to... like starwars the clone wars its kinda the same so. i think most older kids can handle this game.

if your a fan of halo 1-3 odst, or even halo 4 this game is terrible. i don't know what bungie was thinking but this is the most boring and frustrating campaign and online multiplayer ever. if your going to spend money on a halo game go with odst for 10 dollars. (basically halo 3 with all dlc) or halo 4. they are both epic games

A really nice game Halo game it has pretty good graphics despite the fact that their pretty much the same as Halo 3 and ODST. but their still pretty good. And the storyline is ok, but I wouild say that the best thing about it is it's gameplay.

Bungie went out with a bang with this one. Halo Reach has lots of new upgrades and lots of new cool stuff you can do which in my opinion made Halo a better game. The campaign is sweet and this game is just worth getting if you are into the Halo universe.
